The prices held for nearly a year then creeped down to the lowest of £6k for an unworn example and started to climb again at the start of the 2016.

More recently they advertised a used piece for £6995 and it's sold. Surprisingly another reseller has very recently advertised two used pieces for £7450 each. Has there been an increase in demand from January for the reference or has the UK supply been reduced?
What's the uk list price when 1st released got told today it's £6,550

Has the price increase to 6550 pounds in the UK made any difference to the waiting list on this model...apparently all waiting times are the same??

Yeah this has surprised me. They are still like hens teeth. I thought the increase would have them appearing out of safes but seeemingly not.

I passed an AD yesterday with just 3 SS watches in their sports section and that whole part of the window was genuinely empty. They had an EXP2, YM SS dark blue face and a Milgauss of some description.

As we are still the cheapest region the rise has on lessoned the savings to be had from an EU or more so a non EU buyer.

I'm still certain this was a half step price increase from Rolex pre Xmas and one will follow post.

Until this price discrepancy is removed or at least made the hassle not worth the reward SS models will still be in high demand.

They are available here in Kuwait, price is KD 2450 (After discount), which is around Euro 7500, US$ 8100 and GBP 6450. Pretty good deal.

I've been in about 10 ADs in London, Manchester, Milton Keynes and various other places over the last 2 months. The only steel sports model I have seen in any of them is the sd4000 in Manchester. The rest had no steel sports models whatsoever and say the future ones are already reserved or expected to sell within minutes of hitting the store front.

This is very interesting, I think.

Since Norway has a 25% value added tax, which is rebated to Americans exiting the country, doesn't this make this a pretty good deal at about $7500 USD?

I had the opportunity to purchase one at $9200 CAD all in. I chose the ND SubC at $7500 instead!

I'd buy one in a heartbeat for $9200 CAD. Where are you guys finding these prices in Canada?

I have a friend in Toronto who would do me a favor...

Hey all! New to the forum, figured I'd contribute. Bought my brand new never owned BLNR in Calgary, AB, Canada from the AD. Locked in exchange rate of 1USD:1.35CAD. RRP 10,200CAD before 5% tax which was refunded. USD total: 10,200/1.35=$7,555.56 USD. Presently, about a 2 month wait list.

As an aside, if you are a visitor to Canada on holiday or a short duration you can save your receipts and sum up the amount of tax you spent in Canada and mail in the requisite form with the original receipts and they will refund the tax. I did this with my piece as well as my winter holiday. Makes traveling to Canada very appealing for Americans.

Any recent info at US AD's? Any AD's letting BLNR's go with a discount?

For my experience, I haven't seen any of my local AD's discounting BLNR. All of them quoted me at Rolex list price and 2 months waiting time. Granted, one or two would throw in a 5-year exterior cleanup service.

Thanks. Yeah, not much point in going grey market unless I can save few hundred+. No sales tax for me anyway.

I also got my BLNR with no sales tax so it was like a 7% discount.
