That actually makes sense, Nancy. It'll be too cold to do it in December!

That's the reason I nagged Al to do it, and afterwards, he said he was glad I had! Sure beats coming into the house 5 times to warm your hands. While he did that, I planted 300 spring bulbs!

Okay, thinking about another thread and what watch Carolina might wear, were she to own a Rolex......

Something not too fussy.... a SS DJ maybe? Would 36mm be too big for you? With white face, arabic and baton combo.... on oyster bracelet....

Anyone else have an idea? What would be Carolina's perfect Rolex, knowing her as we do?

I was thinking about this last night after you asked. I know a white face would be good - very clean looking. Also, Roman numerals, I think.

How about a TT DJ on a Jubilee, white dial with Raised Romans

Or a SS DJ, Jubilee, White dial with WG Raised Romans

I like the second option. Not a big fan of TT, but do love SS.

I know the full size is 36 mm (?), but what about the mid size?

Well, then probably the mid size to use for dress. And of course, a Expy II for a sportier look - I'm generally a jeans type of gal most days!

You're correct, Paulie. The 31 really is a nice size. You know, there's also the 34mm Date, but the dial options are limited. I don't know if there's a white face with Romans available?.

You could pull off that particular DJ with jeans all day long

Thanks Lisa I'm not sure about the dial options on the Date models either.

Say, don't you have a white Explorer II? How do you like it - esp. the larger size??

This one's only a 26mm but it sure would be nice for dress!

David is letting me wear his. I like it but I really feel conspicuous when wearing it. We're trying some leather straps for variety and to get a better fit, so we don't have to remove any permanent links. Did you see my pics? The red/black strap is pretty wild, I admit.

I must have missed the pics - sometimes I don't make it to the main forum for weeks!

I think customizing it is cool. I love anything that doesn't look like what everyone else has (if that sentence makes sense)!
