You’re a better WIS than me, I would have jumped on their offer to buy it back and moved on. I’m petty though.

But 3 months is great! I just got a watch back after 7 months.

I've not had the pleasure of seeing this in person, but you've solidified my absolute lust for this piece. It's stunning! Now just have to get permission from "she who must be obeyed" to buy "another silly watch." (Her words not mine!)

Where do gray market Lange 1 prices sit nowadays, especially for a 191.039 or 101.025? I tried on a WG 191.039 recently. It's a lovely watch, but $44,700 is almost certainly higher than other options.

For what it's worth, C24 shows around $33k. I typically discount C24 prices by 10%, and I see a 191.039 sold on Moda at $27k. That yields about $30k.

As for the "Stealth," I see a few on C24 for high-$30k to mid-$40k, including one for $39.9 from WatchBox.

Ok.... nobody has one of these ? Or is this not a reference that people like?
I think the dial is so pretty.

I just would like to know something about the watch from an end user. Thanks

Thats great... tell me about the durability ?

Do you see any problem using it as a daily ? I am not hard on my watches and like to wear them often. I would not want to swim or do yard work with this watch on but i wonder what the durability is with this reference because Lange's other watches go thru those intense durability tests.

BUT.. with the dial on this one.... i wonder how sturdy it is.

Thanks

I wear it as a daily/within the rotation. I am not hard on my watches either. I take it off for kitchen tasks. Otherwise it is on my wrist from sunrise to bedtime.

Dial is glass. Have not tested nor do I want to.

Keeps time remarkably well.

Power reserve is measured to 72 hours... I do not overwind as it is rotated in and out.

Thanks.... I'm gonna go for it.
So I wonder what kind of testing Lange does on this reference... considering the glass dial.

What color straps do you have with it ?
I saw some guy on a youtube video that put a light grey swede strap on it.

I want to do alot of strap changing because I like variety.

I hope so... I would love to know how Lange tests this reference considering the
special dial. Are they as rough with it as the other references because what would happen to that dial if they knocked it around like they test the others. lol

These have been out since 2018 and I haven't heard of any problems with them. The gold flux dial has a solid silver backing. Also, other brands have been making aventurine dials for years. Omega made some in the 70's (I have several) and again I don't know of any problems with them breaking.

I LOVE those pieces. Thanks for sharing with me. Glad to hear it about the
dial. I decided to buy the watch and will post pictures when I get it.
Can't wait to see it.
