Does it have screws for each link (like in the photo by Loosetoe on post #3328), or push pins? Please email me the serial, I'll look into it for you. |

I actually forgot about the micro-adjust feature when I first sized the bracelet.
Where the butterfly clasp meet, there are two buttons on either side of both clasp points. You have to push both button and pull slightly on the bracelet to pull out the extension. It works quite well, and I prefer it to the VC Overseas implementation. If you've already tried to look for those buttons, never mind this post. I still needed one oversized link to make the fit perfect and the micro-adjust provide the right amount of relief on tight days, but it all works perfectly now. |

I’m personally not a huge fan of precious metal sports watches, but that gold case/blue dial combo is absolutely a looker.

I've gotten more than a few posts from Czapek about the new yellow and rose gold Antarctiques.....HOWEVER,
The first 2 posts had dead links....wouldn't go to the landing page for the new releases. Then the 3rd did the trick, but with a big caveat, at least for me. It briefly showed the landing page, but then the scare banner for the cookie policy came up. But when you clicked on the cookie policy, it wouldn't go there. Therefore, couldn't read it. It also did not give you an option to opt out of marketing, which I believe is a legal requirement. It is in CA, and I believe in the EU. So I couldn't actually get to the landing page, or didn't want to without having the option to opt out of marketing and sharing of PI or without viewing the cookie policy. For everything Czapek does right, there are a few things here and there that are frustrating. |

I am confused by the pricing listed on their site for the new Mount Erebus!
Rose Gold on Alligator 27.5k CHF Rose Gold on Rubber 31.0k CHF Yellow Gold on Alligator 29.0k CHF Yellow Gold on Rubber 34.8k CHF Why is the rubber strap version so much more, and why the big jump in price for the Yellow Gold on rubber? |

The rubber is more than the alligator because the rubber comes on a deployant buckle (in gold, heavy and $$$) and the alligator comes on a pin buckle. The YG is more because we made less of them, and economy of scale with the case and bracelet folks. USA prices are: RG (LE 100): $59,000 Gold Bracelet $35,000 Rubber/Deployant $31,000 Croco/Pin buckle $66,000 Bracelet and Rubber $62,000 Bracelet and Croco YG (LE 20): $61,000 Gold Bracelet $36,400 Rubber/Deployant $32,800 Croco/Pin buckle $68,700 Bracelet and Rubber $65,100 Bracelet and Croco |

Hey, Mike, would it be possible to change the seconds hand of an Antarctique?
I have my name on a waiting list since April 2022 for a Glacier blue 38mm. However, its taking too long and a 40mm Glacier Blue showed up - problem is, the seconds hand is all red, which I'm not too keen of. Is there any chance I order a normal hand with red tip for the 40mm version from you guys? I know it's an unusual request, but a man can dream! |

We would want to change the hand with our watchmakers, not someone who is not Czapek trained. (I know it's just a hand swap but....)
Any way to get that watch to USA or Switzerland? |

That would be too time-consuming and risky (due to two-way shipping), unfortunately. I totally get your concern though. Would it help if I waive my warranty rights? |

The Antarctique line has been a game-changer for Czapek. But what’s next? The ‘Beyond Antarctique’ documentary series will delve deep into Czapek’s next chapter. From the establishment of the brand’s manufacture, the relationships with its long-time partners, the upcoming product launches, to ultimately eviscerate what Czapek stands for. Please watch the inaugural episode out now and do not hesitate to leave us your comment!

"to ultimately eviscerate what Czapek stands for."
That's not something I would expect to hear from the marketing department of a well thought of company.

From Xavier: Please tell them that “It is the most embarrassing lost in translation we did so far!”
The introduction to the YouTube video was written by a native Italian speaker, and approved by a native French speaker. You can be sure that they never asked the native English speaker if it was OK. I never even read it, which I should have, I just copied and pasted it here. Let’s change that to “dig deep into what Czapek stands for.“ |

Yes....dig deep.
Although I am now hoping that this chain of translation doesn't happen with NATO and the nuclear codes. |

Admittedly, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the new Promenade collection. The watch itself is fine... thin, time only, reuse of the Calibre SXH5, interesting dials... I'm sure it fills a niche. But it feels like more of a "filler" to the collection in my eyes. I don't this as the "climb the next mountain" watch.
For example, I think that, generally speaking, there is so much room to improve on the case functionality and case aesthetics. Most watch brands outside of DeBethune, GF, Urwerk, MB&F, etc., don't pay much attention to it. So when you make a time-only round-case watch, you can only really compare and contrast the Promenade with other watchmakers who are making the more traditional round time-only watches. With that in mind, I don't think this moves the needle much when compared to finishing vis-a-vis RG, LF, Dufour, or even the Code 11.59, all else being equal; or the dial designs vis-a-vis Voutilainen, Rexhepi, Moser, etc. I want to view Czapek as a leader vs a follower in the independent space. But I don't see it with this watch. Hopefully they are just rounding out the collection now and biding their time to introduce something that will push the envelope next year. Am I off in my expectation of the brand? |
