With you being in London your decision makes even more sense! In Hong Kong you don't have concerns about theft or things of that nature. In London, on a relative basis it must be horrendous.

Beautiful blue dial

I have been on the registry list since Nov 21.

Hopefully I will hear something soon

I have been dealing with NY boutique.

I have asked a few times and was not given a timeline

Hi there.

Anybody has any experience getting on the wish list for the 4500v blue dial at the VC Zürich boutique recently? I’m told it’s around 5-year wait but I’m wondering if someone got one quicker than what they were told.

I’m also on the wish list at the e-boutique (they told me they operate a different list to those at the boutiques) and I’m interested to know if the wait time is longer or shorter at the e-boutique.

They usually won't take a deposit unless they can source it quickly.

I'm guessing that means he's 25 on their list and they get 5 per year. Vegas boutique in 2021 got 5 the year I got mine.

They were pushing me to go for the silver dial. They said they can get it more quickly but my heart’s set on the blue one.

I hope you really get it but I don’t think you will. The blue is one of the most popular watch the vc have. Without deposit there is little chance of that.

New to me 42040 J. Fits me better than 4500 did and very comfortable bracelet. Not sure if exact same blue as the newest generation but they sure know how to make it.

Ha. You’re right, I should have asked “is it safe” to wear around the Paw Patrol first :)

Beautiful piece! I myself am cashing out on my investments next 2-3 years and buying the rose gold ultra thin perpetual calendar, probably blue face. Not a fan of the skeletonised version which is good because that saves me from buying into the hype. Hopefully prices for these don’t skyrocket like they did a year ago

Anyone think they’re going to discontinue the silver dial?

Don’t see why they would… perhaps replace it with a white dial?

Do you guys with the Overseas models prefer to wear it on the bracelet or rubber for every day? Or is it a mix of both? I assume most don't usually wear it on leather

99% metal. Then leather. Don't care for the length of the OEM rubber. The 12 o'clock side is too short for my wrist. I may try custom rubber to correct this.

I wish VC offered it in different lengths like they do alligator straps for their other watches.
