I wish. Our courthouse provides childcare. The last time I was summoned, Madeline was a couple of weeks old, and I was exclusively nursing her. I showed up, gave my reason why I couldn't stay, and the lady chewed me out for a good 10 minutes!

Madeline is terrorized by the occasional Palmetto bug that shows up in her room. She is convinced that the thing lives under her bed! Usually, she'll wake up her 6 yr old brother, who takes care of the thing without a fuss. Thank heavens for little boys, because bugs absolutely creep me out!!

Ick. One of the main reasons I like winter is because the bugs aren't crawling around all over the place outside. Soon comes summer though... ugh.

Oh just stop.

One night a few months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night - vaguely aware that I had felt something on my arm. I flicked my wrist across my arm, and heard a "ting" as the bug hit the wall.

Ugh. I'm getting the shivers just thinking about it.

Mmmm... much better topic. Though I went out with my mom last night for sushi, and we got food poisoning. I'm writing it off as a one-off though, because this is the place I go to at least once a week every week and it's always been fine.
Enjoy your fantastic sushi dinner! (Even post pictures if you like... )

Oh no!! I'm sure it was a fluke if you are a regular there.

We are going out (yay for babysitting), and I'm thinking I'll cause a scene if I start photographing the food.

I do aspire to start making my own rolls soon, though!

Ash, is Aadil cooking you dinner??
