I bought my 4500V new @2 mos. ago and noticed no rotor noise after trying to hear it as some people have said the same as you. Not sure of their results hopefully someone will also chime in.

Question for the other lucky 4500v owners: the rotor of mine is rather loud. I would go as far as saying as loud as my Panerai (who are known to be loud). Is that the same for you guys?

New gen watches are louder... ceramic ball bearings and glass case back that don't isolate the sound as good as a closed one. And a big nice rotor on top of that :)

Mine is loud too and I compared it with other new ones: all sound the same, there are some videos if you want to compare the sound in the facebook group Vacheron Constantin.

It's all normal. It's the ceramic ball bearings and glass case back not isolating the sound as good as a closed one.

I compared mine that I also bought new with other new ones and they all sound the same, pretty loud. There are some videos in the facebook group vacheron constantin if you want to compare.

So what are you up for? Grand larceny?
Is that Exhibit A?
Surprised they’re still letting you wear it!

Convicted. Making a break for it and figuring out the time in a far away land that is better left unsaid...

Thank you @paca and @Nikirnic. I watched some FB videos last nicht and mine seems to sound the same. Guess that 22k Rotor with the bearings makes it a little louder :).

I will post some pictures later today.

Hi, I read on VC FB Page that the watch doesn't come with an owner's manual. Is that true? The SA at the boutique where I put the deposit did mention that VC stopped providing the passport for Overseas at the end of last year and that the watches now come in more regular boxes (rather than the elaborate ones they first came in). But not having the owner's manual sounds a bit weird (though I guess you can go online and find them on their website). Just curious.

They now provide a USB stick, it's 8 GB I think, and it contains the manual in multiple languages.

I purchased in December from a VC Boutique and received neither manual nor a USB stick. But it did come in a beautiful lacquered box

Where did you get that tan strap?
Is there anywhere online I can order one?

Not sure but I'm sure the boutique would be happy to ship it to you. I can put you in touch with him if you like.

Ok. Last picture I promise. Tried the rubber strap and wore it for an extended period for the first time and it is by far the most comfortable way to wear this watch for me. The strap perfectly hugs my wrist.

Keep them coming and I agree with you about the rubber. It's the most comfy!

My AD called me to tell me the blue auto came in. Went in and tried one yesterday and it looked like a damn frying pan on my 6.5 inch wrist

For those of you with a 7+ wrist this is such a lovely piece.

It wears so large for a 41... The lugs are so flat that the bracelet doesn't hug the wrist nicely for the smaller wristed gents. Result was the same with the rubber.

Wrist width is really the important thing, not overall size. My wrist is just a smidge over 6.5” - maybe a little closer to 6.75” - but I pull it off because my wrist is fairly wide so the lungs don’t hang

Yup, unfortunately same here. Almost pulled the trigger but it just wears too large for me :-(

Not sure I can concur on size. 6.2" wrist. Biggest I would go? Of course. Just. Almost hesitant to post this, since I was tempted to buy on the spot. But I will bc the pics still don't do it justice. This dial is out of this world, above the "deep" black and blue of the selfwinding (that I also tried on) in my opinion. It actually felt "smaller" than the 3 hander bc of the 1.8mm extra thickness. The proportions make this watch. Here goes:
(Yes I would get the small rubber strap, which they didn't have there. But sized bracelet was spot on.)

Sorry about the delay on the pictures! I love the blue 4500v!!!

All three straps are amazing and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately I might have to say goodbye for a bit to get it set correctly. The VCO is currently running between 12-14 seconds slow. I am not super into perfect time keeping (no hacking seconds after all) but almost a minute in 4 days seems way over the top.

Does anyone have experience with the VC service?

I had my second gen for a full revision which took 10 weeks. I hope this won’t take as long!

Thanks for sharing - that looks like an amazing timepiece! I am also looking for my first Vacheron and at the moment am favouring the fifty six day date.

That's a terrific model! The two would actually work well with an OS DT in a collection ..
