A very special treat for us today. Of all the common groupers, snowy grouper is the hardest to find and catch. Today we are lucky enough to be eating one. Caught 5 hours ago and already on the plate. Didn't have a camera on the boat and my phone had no battery, so no pictures of the catch.


But here is the product of the combination you get from perfect bait, good weather and a good friends GPS coordinates:

I just had an enormous helping of fresh monkfish ( rape) on the grill , little olive oil and a salad on the side . The 2 bottles of wine and the bottle of "cava" was maybe not such a good idea . I came home with a scooter and I still haven't got a clue why I bought it
