Lots of great photos here! Shows the appreciation we all have for Seiko and their vast lineup for all budgets without sacrificing quality, design and technology.

I don't think the finishing is quite what it is on some of the newer Presage models, but it is literally the perfect size for my wrist.

Just bought my first King Seiko but am totally clueless if the dial is original or redone... Lots of scratches on the case & glass, but I kinda like that. It's a well worn 50 year old watch

Nice watch. Looks like you got yourself a pretty decent example. I’d much prefer a little honest wear vs an overpolish. How’s she running??

Looks good and all original. Just be careful not to quickset the day and date between 9pm and 3am, as the 56KS movement can break if you do (if it hasn't already, they often have by now).

Nope, not a Seiko, but worthy of consideration IMHO. I'm on day 12 or so of constant wear without any skin irritation or indentations. At under 100 grams sized, it's a good ironic-tactical dark watch and travel option.

Thanks Adam.

The date quick-set function is fine but not for the day - I read somewhere that a certain plastic part that controls that, is prone to breakage. Just wondering if it's an easy / cheap fix

There used to be a guy selling metal replacement parts on ebay — I think it was Adrian at Vintage Time Australia. If you Google around you can probably find him.
