Thanks for the list. Tony is usually one of the bigger bulls out there, so not surprised that he's on the higher end.

What is good to see is that most of these are in the 3000 range, with the low being 2750. Of course, this is all guess work and there's always the possibility that it could go lower than that, but the outlook looks decent over all in my opinion.

I agree which is why I am basing my current trades around a 12-18 month window.

Trying to predict next week or next month is a fools errand.

Tech stocks making a comeback early, which honestly shouldn't be much of a surprise as last week's vaccine news is now a bit stale and the DOW run-up is hitting that same wall that it did in May.

SE, FSLY and LVGO looks to have gone through a consolidation period last week and is now making bigger gains after Twilio's recent report of COVID tailwinds in the tech environment.

As always, I'm an advocate of long-term gains here and always recommend holding pat vs. taking short-term gains/losses when nothing fundamentally has changed with these 3 companies specifically.

I bought for the first time when the market was low back in March. This is my first real investment outside my 401k. I’m “younger” at 37 and it’s the first time I had some serious cash to put in the market. I’m really tempted to pull some cash to buy a 16610LV....I know it’s not wise but dang it would be nice.

If your stocks go down, you have a screen with lower prices. You should enjoy your profits periodically , IMHO.

I'm 36 and if I were you, I too would take some profit off the table and enjoy it.

Money is money...what good is it if you can't enjoy life with it. It sounds like you have other investments, so why not.

Agree with these gentlemen. All depends on your investing goals - if it’s to retire early, leave it in there. If it’s to make a bit of extra cash and have some fun, well a watch is a great choice that also happens to retain value. Me personally, I’m rooting for MSFT on behalf of my future gold sub haha. Despite this being a stock thread, we are a Rolex forum, after all.

I’m glad folks are realizing that, financially, this is a bad “trade.” Moreover, watches are not investments.

But ... work to live or live to work ... enjoy life!

Any views on KO from the wise heads on here? Along with everything else I bought a chunk back in March and it is one of the few things I have hung onto after closing most of my positions out and sitting on cash waiting for opportunities. I added a bit more today ahead of Q2 figures. I think there's some value here and I like the diversification in the company.
Aston Martin is the other I've been adding to - they have a really good new strategy, new CEO, a Formula 1 return and a new Bond film out later this year.
Be curious if there are any views on either.
Other than these I'm still long on MSFT and some banks but wish I hadn't closed my entire Amazon position....

And just like in May, the calls for sector rotation out of tech are premature yet again.

I bet we'll see a 3rd cycle like this - just a fair warning to learn from these past 2 times and take advantage as best as possible.

Long MSFT but not KO. I think KO is a very valuable company, though I don't know that it's one I'd be playing earnings with. Long-term, it's a solid stock.

LLNW just reported Q2 and posted beats on everything; there should be even more tailwinds for the tech stocks like FSLY here.

Again, this should not be a surprise for those following along with the tech sector and what COVID has done to accelerate business for these companies.

I'm not long LLNW but did purchase a few calls last week in anticipation of this. They were pretty cheap, so worth the gamble with all the information we have.

I have LLNW and thought its a value play. However, Wall St don’t like the stock and management. APPS, EVSI and ENPH have performed much better.

It looks like I spoke too soon anyway - high up immediately after hours, followed by a downward push.

We'll see how this opens tomorrow!

The only way to make money off this position is to sell straddles based on price history of the stock

Looking forward to what TSLA and MSFT bring tomorrow.

The march up in tech looks to continue, and I for one happily welcome it. We have trimmed down to 11 stocks and will most likely stay away from cyclicals until closer to year end / 2021, when wide vaccine availability should be more clearly laid out.

Are we in a tech bubble? Sure. But does that mean it cannot continue to go up? Absolutely not.

"Davis is quick to point out that he is not calling a top. The six big stocks can continue hitting new highs if the rest of the market follows along."

https://www.barrons.com/articles/nas...?mod=hp_LATEST

One other thing to think about is if not in tech, where else would you be? If I were to take profits from there, where would I put it to get the same return? Yes it's risky, but at least it is risk with upside at this point; can't say the same with a lot of other stocks.

Agreed, the TINA trade continues, those who constantly predict crashes never offer an alternative except cash

Looks like a bit of sector rotation early, maybe having to do with KO's positive results yesterday afternoon.

Will have to see if it continues throughout the day or if we have a late fade post-lunch.

Would like to see more of this rotation as it would take some of the froth out of the current levels

I can’t wait for MSFT to lay the law tomorrow with earnings and show this market why they’re king. I expect decent earnings from tech all around, but there are a few that I think will outperform, and some that will underperform relative to expectation.

Yes, tomorrow should be exciting.

Will MSFT do what's expected and beat expectations? Or will it disappoint, bringing all of tech down with it?

My money's on the former.

Big miss for SNAP. Not one that I own, but could have implications for FB, PINS, TWTR, etc.

Numbers don't look terrible, but the growth story is lagging and COVID apparently did not help, which is opposite of what would be expected.

Maybe its a personal bias but I'm in my mid 20s and I know a lot of my peer group stopped using SNAP due to Instagram adding the story feature with filters. On top of that they made updates that just made the app difficult to use from what it first was. I know a lot of people that deleted the app and never looked back and among social media apps I can confidently say it is the least popular.

I'm a bit older than you (36) and haven't used SNAP since I tried it when it first came out. I could never get onboard with it as a user, and I definitely didn't see it as an investment opportunity...just personal opinion, of course.

Relatively basic stuff here, but wanted to share anyway for those new to the market.

MSFT / TSLA earnings after the close today, as we've discussed.

Mainly staying on the sidelines in watch and wait mode. If TSLA goes below 1400, I'll look to add.
