Stopped by SoCal boutique yesterday to try out Timezone as it’s been rattling around in my brain for a while now. And I really liked it, a lot.

…but the 1815 AC still does it for me.

If you ever go there, ask for Travis or Summer. both top notch sales reps that make you feel welcomed.

Looking and comparing the readability of these three Lange, I am convinced that I made the best decision by purchasing Up/Down.

It is! Its a 1994 Saxonia, one of the first ones to be produced, love the closed case back. It was a present for my wife as that is her birth year, but I admit I take it out for a spin every once in a while.

As far as keeping the up/down, I think I will. I love both of them, and even though they look similar, they each are suited for different occasions.

If someone offers to trade me a Lange 1 moonphase for the up/down though, I would do it

Very cool! And special with the solid caseback. I know someone local to me who works at a preowned dealer (formerly Lange AD) and who recently bought an old Saxonia (WG/blue dial). He has a small wrist like I do. It's a great watch -- definite keeper!
