Retired early from a lot of things: general political hack, consultant, teacher, investor.

No Rolexes. I quit smoking about four months back and plan on buying my first when I hit a year, a little self reward.

49 year old Emergency Medicine doctor. I just picked up a new Day Date 40mm Rose gold with the chocolate dial/roman numerals. I also own a DJ II with the blue face/roman numerals. Previously owned a white explorer. Interested in getting a Sky-Dweller on a strap

2004 No Holes Case Coke, my daily wearer.

About to buy 116710 LN new as my daily basher. Anyone who flies knows cockpits are the worst places for dings and dents on a watch and I don't want my Coke getting all beaten up. Will save it for weekends or when off work and get it serviced once the new watch arrives.
Am hoping the new black ceramic when I get it will take the knocks a bit better.

The GMT was built for my profession and is without question a classic and THE pilots watch. I use the functions of mine every time I go to work.
It staggers me how many of my colleagues still buy those awful Breitlings! Dreadful watches.
Iwatch has up to 7 time zones :)

Well done for quitting smoking.

I look forward to hearing what watch you buy when you hit the year. Whatever you decide to get you will have deserved it.
