FIA can only control the venue, not everything else. F1 has been going to Interlagos for a long long time despite Jensen Button and others (can't recall which driver) being chased in their Suburban and shot at outside the hotel in a robbery attempt.

There's probably more risk of having a Rolex stolen off a night stand and STDs by the roving professionals who fly in just to cater to high end clients at special events (think Las Vegas during Super Bowl) than being robbed at gun point in Miami.

PLN in Nissan, oh my I have no idea! It makes sense given how fast and big a hit the series became. Criteria Studio was busy as heck with MVice. Gotta admit a few years around that episode's filming date are a bit... ummm... well... it was interesting. Miami, the 80s....

Moving on to afternoon qualifying... hot temps guarantee that no one has issues warming up their tires. Also seems like the Mercs have some speed and less porpoising which could see them move up grid positions.

Ferrari need Carlos to get out of his own head and just drive the car. They will need him if they're to have any chance at the WCC title.
