Why? You will never notice or experience the degradation of the battery. Only if you decide to keep the car for a decade and more.

I assume yours and his will be gone within 5 years. Plus you have the warranty on the battery if it ever decides to dip below recommend numbers.

Or much more likely a 190 SL?

Hard to tell from the angle but I’m fairly certain it’s a 190 (based on accents, hood “bulge” placement, car size etc)…
