Gentlemen, I just saved $100 on a box of My Father Le Bijou 22 Torpedoes on the Cigar Auctioneer! I can't believe how easy it was to use the site - and to win...

I buy most of my cigars through these 2 auction sites.
Lately cigar auctioneer has had a bunch of Yankee auctions on really good boxes.

Hawks offense finally showed up. La Palina for the win!
Thanks to turning me onto these Kevin. Excellent cigars. Tried a Mr. Sam this morning and it was outstanding.

It goes by the nickname "Shogun", Mark. It is made of Scratch resistant titanium. It is a model SBDC029. I have had it for about 2 years and it has not shown a mark yet. I had to order it directly from Japan.

Thanks very much, you gotta love argyle!

Anyone here who has experience with the Cohiba Siglo II? They are obviously a little pricey for a petit corona, but is the Cohiba experience worth it compared to the more affordable Partagas, Romeo y Julieta, etc.. ?

Cohiba Singlo is an excellent cigar. Been a while so can't give any solid taste profile information. Whether it's worth the premium...too many variables

It depends on your palate. My personal experience, Cohiba has a lot of 'weight' as a brand, but I feel not all the products are up to par. To me, Siglo I, Siglo VI and Robusto are worth it, the rest of the line, way too expensive and better out there. But again, that is my 2 cents.

There has been a lack of good wrapper leaf due to a couple of bad harvests in Cuba. This has caused the Cohiba line to be in short supply. IMO, they are over priced and over rated. There are other marcas which offer more bang for the buck.

G, you've hit the nail on the head, couldn't agree more, there are better out there currently, but when given the opportunity the ones, fours and sixes are great. The two's aren't worth the expense IMHO but they are all that is around, I did purchase a 5'er from a friend in Miami and am enjoying them.

I didn't realize this, thanks for sharing and it explains a lot! While I agree with you and G on their rating I will also say that a 15-year-old Cohiba Carona Grande was the single greatest smoke I've ever had and I do tend to chase that dragon LOL

Very nice afternoon on the golf course! Hit 80+ degrees today. Hard to decide if I like the 50 years or 75 years Padron better...awesome smokes. Finishing up the day with an excellent Aging Room M356.
18th hole at my home course
