Is that all? I figured it would take longer then it did for my Sub or DJ

Silver dial isn't really in demand anymore. You'd probably get that 10-20% discount on the grey market, so I think <6 months wait from an AD is reasonable.

I got my silver dial 7900v dual time after only 3-4 months wait late last year from the boutique. For some reason people don't seem to like silver dials that much. To me it is by far the most attractive color in the Overseas 3 lineup (with the exception of the grey dial ultra thin limited edition).

I've the exact same issue with my 4500v. Went back a couple of times, each time it's there for couple weeks for observation and while there was something done, I'm not exactly sure what was done. I last sent it back about 2 months ago, as to if the problem's resolved? I don't know cos I now avoid putting it in a winder.

Strange thing is only my VCs are behaving like this, all other watches in the winder are fine.

I picked it up two weeks ago, put it back on the winder, and left for a business trip. Fast forward to yesterday, when I returned, and noticed that it had completely stopped. I’ve contacted the boutique, and they’ve offered to pick it up from me and have repairs look at it again.

Has anyone else had this problem with their overseas?
I have my Overseas Dual Time on a winder for weeks at a time. It's never stopped running or slowed down at all.

However I my AP Royal Oak Chrono lasts only a few days before it completely stops. Same thing with a Seiko Turtle and an IWC Chrono I used to own.

Not an Overseas, but this thread seems as good a place as any to post VC watches.

So nice. Thanks for sharing. I’ve fallen in love with the platinum-cased green dial tourbillon Traditionelle. Grail watch for me. Your tourbillon looks awesome.

I wore my 4500 daily for about a year and a half. I now alternate between that and my 7900. I do not wear it working in the yard but otherwise wear it often and enjoy!

Did anyone have a chance to handle a Tourbillon Skeleton? Any opinion on how the beveling work's quality; I have a couple of chances to handle the Perpetal Calendar Skeleton but from the pictures I feel like the Tourbillon may have a little higher level of finishing than the PC. Does it look like most the work are done by "hand"? I can see that there are probably more interior angles probably just due to movement architecture. I am not expecting Voutilainen or Romaine Gauthier level of finishing but would like to see at least at a higher level than most other "Holy Trinity" references.

I just received a couple of Vagenari rubber straps (green and orange). They both came with the metal post installed so I didn’t have to use one from my OEM straps ( I saw in another post they didn’t come with them but mine did, maybe a recent but appreciated change). They seem to be good quality and they match up nice with the case. The part that attaches to the watch is a little stiffer and not as soon to operate at the OEM but they still seem like good quality. Runner is slightly softer than OEM. Overall I am very impressed with the quality. Picture of the green below.

4500V screwing down crown question?

Hi Gents, When screwing down the crown a very slight clicking can be felt, just bought the watch from VC in Beverly Hills. Went back today to have the watchmaker take a look and he said the clicking feeling is the stem spring being compressed and that it’s normal. Never had a watch that did this before and was wondering if anyone with the same watch can tell me if their watch does this as well. Case tube threads were examined under a microscope and are fine/clean, he put a bit of lube on them and said not to be concerned.
Thx in advance!

How difficult is it to get the full Rose Gold blue dial overseas from the boutique? Still the 5 year BS ?
