I'm a college professor. Nancy is a Special Needs teacher. We have a few Rolex between us. Mine are my TT Sub, ~1950 Tudor small rose, 1940 Rolex British military pocket watch, and my treasure, my 1908 Wilsdorf & Davis pendant watch currently out for restoration.
Nancy only has two right now, her circa 1960 gold cocktail watch fresh from a Toronto RSC overhaul, and her Cellini. We bought one of her sons a 14060 Sub a year or so ago, and are currently looking for a DateJust for another son. Thank God she only had 5 kids!

Hey Guys,
Going to be the "big 5-0" this July. I am a Senior Engineer at a Nuclear Power Plant here in Ct. I have a GMT II (black bezel) and Sub Date, both Z series. The Sub date looks a little more deisel, but the GMT II is the more comfortable of the two watches. Regards, Jim

Ditto! When I was in school, I didn't have a pot to pee in! And in dental school, there is NO time for a part-time job.

Hi guys! I'm 45 years young, and as some of you already know (and as my handle implies), I'm a dentist. I work for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Fort Worth, TX. I have an apartment in Grand Prairie TX, and commute home to Houston TX most weekends and holidays, where I own a home. I have purchased A Yacht-Master TT with MOP/diamond/sapphire dial, DateJust TT, and DateJust SS with diamond markers, all within the last 2 years. I have my eye on a GMT II next...

Just made it through all 386 posts, pretty interesting.
26, work for an oil/gas exploration company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bought a Omega 2254.50 back in September and followed that up with a Sub LV in November. Trying to be a two watch kind of guy but its hard, the Omega only sees the sunlight once a week if its lucky. |
