This reminds me of something:

My MIL! She does both, and pretends she doesn't. It's hilarious to be sitting at the dining table with the rest of the extended family, and suddenly hear your 65 yr old MIL let out a loud burp, and then a humongous fart, while putting away dishes in the kitchen 15 feet away. What do you do??

I have to post this pic - taken last July. We were all hanging out on the front porch, and I was enjoying my usual non-alcoholic beer. I had JUST let fly a particularly good belch - note the resulting expressions on the girlies - baby Violet especially!
