Thanks Paul. Worked out perfect. Put it on before I went up to practice golf in the rain. 3 hours later, I'm cold and wet and its ready to eat. I love fall comfort food

Where I live is 120 miles from Seattle and hardly ever rains. Last two weeks it's been raining like Seattle. Never seen this much rain ☔️ here.

To celebrate our 33'd anniversary when we met....my Mrs. treated us to see the movie 'Inferno'..( which was pretty good...)..and then went down to 'Havana'... a great bistro on Commercial St.
.
She had the Chicken and Waffle ..a crispy Caribban fried chicken breast, Belgian waffle served with savory - Coconut Gravy, Seasonal Vegetables, fruit compote, maple syrup, ..- which was quite good, - different with a waffle, but the coconut gravy made it work...

.
I of course had their 'Paella' (hard to find around here...), with West Coast mussels, prawns, chorizo sausage, peppers, onions, tomatoes, saffron, Spanish rice, coconut milk. - Excellent.. imo..- and I've had a few paella...!!

Considering all of the wonderful meals displayed above I'm going to lower the tone considerably now....

My wife is away with work and my 15 month old son is poorly so not had much sleep meaning it's comfort food for me.

A corned beef sandwich with beetroot and red onion.

You can also see from my beer choice that I'm supporting Barcelona in tonight's big match!

Bone in turkey breast been soaking since 6am in a apple cider and sage brine, just injected with creole butter as the smoker is warming up. Using Apple wood for the first 3-4 hours then finishing with pecan wood. Smoking low and slow, should all come together around supper time tonight.

Took the wife out to "The Precinct." This is our go to. By far, the best food I have ever eaten..... EVERY TIME.

It's a high end Steak Restaurant that used to be an OLD TIME police station.
