Ack grow up. You've gone on and on for three pages now.

First this is a PICTURE THREAD-- (it's not a discussion thread).

Second, you sold your watch what 8 months ago and you're crying/trolling now?

Third, this is normal. If someone doesn't like it, send it to RM (something you refused to do). They will 'fix it'.

Fourth, I've owned 7 RM's (several twice) and zero issues. None.

If you have an issue and want to troll (and not even an owner), start a thread saying RM sucks.

This says it all...
This says it all...

It's called, sarcasm. In reference to when you "troll" the QC issues in the Patek section.

I am not crying or trolling whatsoever. I shared pictures of the watch I owned pointing out something I found off to me being a brand new watch from the factory. I very much like the brand, have been an owner of the brand and will be an owner again. I have no alternative motives but to start a discussion in the open forum of the brand about something I noticed and now others have noticed as well whether it perturbs them or not.

Because you haven't had this issue, "it's normal" and we should all accept it, and just shut up, stop crying about it, send it in to get "fixed" and not to discuss that this could be a potential factory production problem?

In my opinion the finishing should be perfected, we shouldn't have to see these dark circles. If mine was the only watch fine, then I could understand and I wouldn't have a leg to stand on and you would be right. But, even your buddy John pointed out he mentioned to this to you in the past as almost all his watches that were brand new and sealed had this "problem", and now others are noticing as well.

I don't own a RM, and may never in the future... I just like looking at the pictures and reading about the brand. There is plenty of discussion that has taken place on this thread; everything from future purchases, to the merits of each model, to market pricing. This is not just a picture thread, and hasn't been for some time. There are some pictures, but there is also a lot of text.

That said, AckAck made his point and anyone that doesn't like it should just ignore him. Poking the bear doesn't make the bear stop. I don't intend for this post to offend, and really hope it can just continue to be a fun little escape for people.

Delighted to see this thread back.

After much enabling by this board to get a 15202 and 5167, maybe the RM029 will be the next one?

Ha! Won't be for a couple of years I reckon. I still need to get a 5712 somewhere in between.

The 15202/5712/RM029 is the holy trinity for me. Wouldn't need another watch outside of those three.

Great pair... Love NTPT pieces more when they don't have clear back... That's the reason I love more ceramic than ntpt Bubbas 055....

Share more pics of ultimate edition...

Love the RM35 Ultimate - here is a picture when I tried at a grey dealer.
What was the retail price of it? Is it likely that can be found at any AD/boutique? Given 35 pcs, it is hard I believe.

The retail was around $135k when I bought mine in March. Don't have an idea about the availability but hardly any discount offered.

Well did hesitate getting the first 035 or the Voutilainen, but when I knew I could get the Voutilainen with officer's case back, unique engraving and signed "unique piece", that was it for me, and when I see Karl's watch and pics of mine, I really don't regret, just not a crazy guy like Karl who took the flight from Dubai I think to Geneva just to get it, I need to go in Paris around the 13th of September, will kill 2 birds with one stone and get it on the way back

The thread coming back is great.

Got me to post a reply even if I just look everyday.

I think I will never be able to have such a watch but the pictures mostly of Paul are amazing and inspiring.

I surely don't love every RM but it's a thread that should remain and is awesome.

Don't let negativety bring you down.

(Sorry about my english)
