Just cracked this gift open to celebrate a work thing.
Nice spice to it, also can definitely notice the sweetness and corn. I believe it’s the high-corn, high entry proof mashbill. Pretty good, but not secondary market price good. I had some plain old Johnnie Walker 18 the other night. It’s easy to forget how nice a well crafted blend can go down when you’re always down the single malt rabbit hole. Not the peatiest, not the spiciest, not the most complex, just nice. Thought it would be better at 43%. ;)
