Kinda like the auto industry. At least Imo being I have been in it for 23 years. But what I mean is for 95% of the auto industry here in the states, buy a car, lose thousands and inventory was everywhere, but the last 4-5 have been quite the opposite although its starting to settle.

Point being if the selling part of the auto industry has been around for 100 years which part would you hedge your bet is to return/stay? The prior 95 years or the last 5. Commonality would tell you the 95 but watches are a luxury item which could help or hurt my statement. Off topic rant but it crossed my mind.

HMHM I hope you, myself, and ALL the true watch lovers get our turn "back" at the table. Idk. Seems like its gonna be impossible to change the minds and hearts of A D's. Flippers will come and go but the A D mentality is gonna be hard to change. Economy bad? We have no watches for sale. Demand is crazy. Unemployment all time highs? We have no watches for sale. Demand is crazy. And on and on and on

As others have noted in the AP sub, prices have been stagnant for quite some time for royal oaks and offshores. It’s anyone’s guess as to whether this will continue. Select Rolexes have creeped up a bit, who knows whether AP will follow… maybe, maybe not.

hunddreds Reference available means that he has a lot of deals under his belt on that group. if you want to ref check the seller, you can do that as well and a lot of seller will back up the deal.. and hes a legit seller there if you might ask.
Theres plenty okf platforms now my friend. not just trf and chrono anymore. Selling watches are evolving.

White dial 50th Anniversary 15510 BNIB currently listed on Moda for 39.7k and still no takers. Don't think I have ever seen a brand new one for that low.

Also saw that the new gold Rolex GMT was listed on Moda today. Lol are there still people on here that believe ADs aren't full of it? That has backdoor deal with the AD written all over it.

How much should I pay for an unused/very good condition Zenith DefySkyline with the blue dial?

I’m absolutely crazy about this watch, saw it at a zenith store.

However, it’s market is dead!

I know the quality and value I get, even for at retail is amazing, and still, I don’t want to loose to much with its market price.

At retail it’s 9,000 usd
I found one used in a great condition at 6,000 usd

What do you think?

What’s happening with these JM’s. In the UK they seem to have settled at 88K USD. Nothing approaching 85k USD unless an old use reference.

Most dealers (I know) are saying the price has settled now and they’ll get bought up and the price will rise but it’ll take some time.

What are other people’s thoughts?
