I actually love this because for someone like myself I have such a difficult time finding a watch for my tiny 6” bony wrist. I have been through hundreds of watches. Patek’s, Lange’s, AP, Panerai, RM etc. you name it and I haven’t been able to find anything that fits comfortably. This should fit absolutely perfectly. The crown won’t dig into my wrist. The watch won’t move upward towards and over my wrist bone. This design is going to flow with my wrist!

So, the mechanism explained:

One pusher located at 2 o'c controls gear selector fork that can engage any of the 5 rollers or activate neutral position. Pressing the second pusher at 11 o'clock rotates the selected roller.

So, you measure your time on your Garmin and then when you rest from cycling you click some pushers on your 1 million $ watch to adjust how many kilometers you crossed? Or I miss something? :)

So is the special shape made to fit on the left or right wrist? I see Alain is wearing it on the right wrist but he usually wears his watches on the left.

For some reason he designed this one to wear it on the right wrist with a curve that doesn't disturb the hand movement... I saw the pics of Alain wearing RM010 on left wrist...

But left or right this watch have zero benefit while riding a bike....

I doubt it, on a recent visit to London I was disgusted at the treatment of me and my pal from the RM Boutique in Harrods where the staff seem to think it's acceptable to be rude and condescending so much so that my desire to own one of the brands watches has taken a major hit.

I can only imagine that if you even joke about paying with any body parts they will call you a loser to your face, bitch slap you and escort you to the door.

What exactly happened? I will be pissed with any sort of rudeness from sale people...

Au contraire, RM boutique in Paris treated me like I'm some royalty that bought a dozen of their million dollar watches... and I was casually dressed with no expensive watch on the wrist...

That's exactly how I get treated in an AP boutique and it was the AP boutique in Harrods that made an introduction to the RM sales person as they're 10 metres apart. Unfortunately this cheap, tacky fake RM woman thought it was acceptable to big time about her dad, tell me that my normal AD was speaking BS and generally just behave in an unpleasant manner.

I walked away with the view that it's quite possible that most of the London boutique clients are probably more interested in only being seen with 100k + on their wrist and possibly zero interest in anything behind the brand.
