I wouldn't doubt it. I called Barney's in SF and they knew nothing of FLP, so who knows if that IG post is legit or not. Something on it's way to tie me over :)

Pretty nice piece overall. Hopefully it stretches a little bit as I can't fit everything I usually carry. The slot holders, so far, are genuinely for one card a piece. Took a bunch of pictures. Hopefully they answer most questions.

Most of what was in my old wallet
Priority Pass has a virtual membership card on their phone app now, so no need to carry the card.

Can any one recommend a wallet that is thin, durable and has a coin pocket. I like carrying usb sticks and keys in my wallet.

By the way where do you guys carry your keys? I use 2 keys and I put them in my wallet in the coin pocket.

Keys go in my front trouser pocket. USB goes with my laptop in a case.

UPDATE:

The wife and I went to Goyard today after the BEverly Hills GTG and were blown away by the quality of Goyard. Not quite as flexible as Faure (the billfold), but the very highest quality. We got the card of the proprietor and will think about ordering some things when we get home. Photos will follow.

Awesome John I'm pretty sure that Goyard uses thicker canvas than FLP, thus Goyard is stiffer overall. Can't wait to hear more feedback and see some pics.

I will be going to Maison Goyard in London in nine days time, I will be looking at picking up a Victoire wallet plus a card case(wallet) similar to yours and if the missus wants something, no doubt my debit card will be revealing itself from it's new home.

I do not agree. The Goyard card case my son has is not that great. The stitching near the opening was coming apart after very little use. It needed repair by Goyard. I believe the quality is not better than FLP.

My FLP wallet has been in my back pocket and overstuffed with cards for a month and it still looks brand new. I know it is only a month, but it is taking a lot of abuse.

Agree much prefer FLP. Not just quality, but for ME Goyard has become too mainstream, whereas FLP is more niche--and that appeals to me.

I haven't read anything negative about the quality of Goyard products. Only time will tell...I like the look of the Goyard pattern much better.

Emailed Claudia at 10:09 AM and generated a shipping label at 10:57AM. Should receive it tomorrow. WOW!!! I was in Paris last month and while in the Patek Boutique was told to check out FLP but did not have enough time. Really looking forward to getting the mini bifold.

Congrats! I really like mine very much. My wife's repaired purse and a new wallet were shipped Thursday night and they both arrived today. Super fast shipping, no charge and no customs charges. They provide excellent service.

Thanks Paul and Kevin and a big thanks to John for starting this thread and reminding me about this cool brand. I have a Boeing 45 and while in Paris was looking to add a Goyard wallet but personally didn't like the thickness or need that many card slots. I think the Portefeuille Poche will be the perfect size for just a few cards and license and some cash on the opposite side. My Boeing 45 is great for travel but I hope FLP comes out with something similar in the future.

Yeah I hope FLP comes out with more travel wares as well...I'm sure it's coming.

Great looking bag. I'm waiting for Goyard to text me back so I can order a billfold. I want to compare Goyard, Faure Le Page, and LV.

BTW, I was very impressed with the sturdy Goyard roller cases in their boutique, they looked really overbuilt.

The problem I have with designer roller cases is that their extending handles are not quite long enough for me. Tumi's are the best length for me (I have long legs).

Haha! Too funny.

I also hope they come out with a couple of carry on bags. They could be awesome.

Thank you! My best half really likes them.

I think she wishes the Parade Soft was just a tiny bit bigger, otherwise they are perfect!

LMAO! My wife's maiden name starts with an H maybe I should've taken her name As Mike G, a Gucci or Guess belt just wasn't going to work for me

Having gone through the diaper bag shopping not that long ago, you'll be relieved to know that Goyard doesn't have a diaper bag per se. Some people use their tote as one but it doesn't help you keep things organized at all.

High end designers don't make a good diaper bag but the two that made a half way decent attempt at one were Gucci and Prada. We chose Gucci

I appreciate all the pics but I'm still on the fence about this brand. I like some of the thoughtful details like the cut outs in the card slots and how the card holders are perfectly sized for credit cards but I'm not entirely sure I like the pattern.

I was looking at some LV card holders yesterday and it annoyed me how large the card slots are so they're out. I like a slim card holder that is used only for cards (and maybe an emergency $100 bill tucked in) but I use a money clip for cash.

Decisions decisions

Agreed with the your points on the thoughtful details. I'm not 100% sold on the pattern. There is definitely some history behind it though. I have one on back order, so we shall see. In the mean time, I ordered a Goyard card holder to tie me over.

I looked at some LV card holders last week and they are definitely not slim. The card slots are huge, which makes the card holder quite wide.

I have a fair few, three from LV, two from Mulberry, one from Burberry, one from Gucci and I also have one from Montegrappa, another from Mulberry and a card case and iPhone 5 holder from Knomo in the draw upstairs. I will be in London next week and will be looking in the Goyard boutique and will probably look at a Victoria wallet and a different coloured card holder from them. Mind, I also like the look of the wallets from Bottega Veneta.
