The one that sparked my interest was a Day Date with diamond bezel. Never owned one, but is the one that left me in awe at 16 years old. Was the epitome of success and wealth.

116610. Before that Rolex wasn’t even on my radar.

Sub for me. It was because of the Sub I got into watches and it actually pointed me in the direction of Seiko first after researching dive watches. Over a 5 year period, I started with a Seiko Sumo and loved it then got a MM300, a gold/black Tuna and finally got the Sub earlier this year.

5510 with red depth rating. The subs have always attracted me but this big crown is so striking that it speaks to me.

The very first Rolex that I can remember seeing, as a kid in a wedding party, is a two-tone DateJust with fluted bezel and a champagne dial.

It was THE watch for me then, the iconic symbol of a self-made gentleman.

For me it was the pt dial YM 116622. It was the first and only Rolex I wanted for several years. I added a SD43 and Sub TT Bluesy later but the first Rolex is special.

Also, this YM is very quiet and understated, almost soothing and relaxing, I love that in watch. I also like a louder piece every now and then, depending on mood and attire.

Variety is good.

14060, but my wrist is pretty small (true 6”), so I went with a 114270. Maybe one day I’ll give the 2-liner a shot.

Submariner. When I first got into collecting watches while in college, that was the one watch that I aspired to have at some point.

A couple decades later, I've now had a few Subs over the years. Two currently.
