That is the first one I have seen. Tell us how that new strap feels, like in the hot middays sun or when it's cold. It is a real beauty.

If I had to own one Yachtmaster, I think it would be that one...

Here's a few pics. Are people still showing love for the Yachtmaster? I have mine for sale here on TRF, but no bites...

Any reasons why I shouldn't sell her? She really does fit well, and the tapered lugs are very nice. She explodes in the sun, with the Hammered Dial... I having second thoughts...

Mine arrived last week. Z Serial. LOVE that shimmery dial!
Shimmering silver backdrop with red, white, and black accents, reminds me of my alma mater, The Ohio State University! Go Bucks!

I have loved the YachtMaster for years. It has always been my favorite Rolex. I bit the bullet last week and finally got it. Before I made the purchase, I really wanted the blue Dial/Platinum bezel. Once I received the watch, I was very happy with my choice. I have gotten countless compliments, and the watch is very comfortable. Couldn't be happier!

Been longing for a Yachtmaster Platinum Silver for years. Just picked up one yesterday. Love it. Only regret... should have pulled the trigger sooner.

Comgratulations on your fantastic acquisition.

The YM especially in platinum dial is misunderstood. Some people only see a dull monochrome colour scheme and an overpriced Sub. However, nothing beats its peculiar beauty to the discerning eye IMHO. It shows its shimering effect and true mesmerising nature under the sunlight like no other watch I've ever seen.

Its surprising and complex personality still baffles me. It's a work of genius.

Agreed. Often overshadowed by the Submariner. Hopefully with the introduction of the blue dial 116622 a couple of years ago, some new interest can be had with this model.

I purchased mine on Tuesday. After looking at Subs and GMT's for a long time I saw this and bought it a week later. I bought 3 watches this year. I wish I had seen this earlier. I would only have it ....

Thanks. I was driving down the road and looked at the watch and thought it looked cool. I pulled over and took the picture. Turned out good.
