I am very fortunate to have a lot of great watches in my collection...but for some reason I always come back to this one which gets the most wrist time. IMO, the most beautiful and simple watch ever produced. Ref 5513.

Am I the only one here who wants to buy a decent camera just to take pictures for this thread? My only camera is an iPhone and it NEVER does a vintage watch justice (at least not with my paltry photography skills). I've got some nice watches but I can never seem to capture that for TRF. Seems silly to go get a DSLR to take dial pics, right?!

Some say the honeycomb dial is too far out but everytime I see one like yours I get shivers - beautiful! In particular the way it shows its age gracefully..

^^ Haven't seen one that old, looks great bro! Makes a great daily watch good for any tough condition.

Thanks - you know, it's been amazing - really tough, always water-proof, very accurate. It was fully serviced once in about 2000, and they put a new crystal on it. I love how the old Tritium has gone dark, so I have patina on my TAG Heuer matte dial, which still glows a little, too.

I got a new bezel for it a couple of years ago as the old one split. It's pretty small after the Rolex/Tudor and B&R (44mm!), but I think it's still a good design and has never let me down. I think it's only on about its 4th battery as well - they last forever! Not bad for @ 200.-CHF
