I used my own pic for a brief time, but decided it was more fun to use an avatar image. Plus, I got a little paranoid about weirdos. Who knows what kind of strange person would decide to make it their life mission to stalk me or my kids? That's just my suspicious nature, I guess. I've posted pics of my face here and there, but I try to go through and delete them after a while.

I snowmen!

She forced me to take them down as I was afraid for their lives.

I think she's getting senile

Phew....a well placed bag of frozen peas soon put an end to any potential mishap!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't go and find Claire, one tearaway child is enough at the moment thank you very much.

I wouldn't want her getting any ideas....

Awww....I was watching the news last night. There's a cat that looks almost identical to yours. She/he has been stuck up in a tree for 6 days and nights. She cries all night. Neither the SPCA nor the Fire Dept will come to help. The neighbours are frantically trying to get the cat to come down, but every time they try something, it goes further up the tree.

Errrmmmmmm don't they have a longer ladder?

They need some jimbits thinking.

Either a mouse or fish at the bottom of the tree and a barky dog at the top of the tree.

Problem solved!

Nancy so do I, in my early years I did quite a bit of hallucinogens and extra curricular chemicals. Sometimes I'm surprised I survived the 60's and early 70's!!!

Poor kitty! I had always heard that it was something of a myth about cats getting stuck - that they'll come down if they want to. But I'm not so sure that's true. Our neighbor's cat got into our garage and somehow lept from the top of the car, tried to get a foothold on a thin rafter and slipped into the top of the east wall, perching on a horizontal support behind the sheetrock! And she was stuck there for about 24 hours. Once we were alerted that kitty was missing, we went on a search. We could hear her meowing in the garage but couldn't see her. Finally, we got a ladder, and she was able to reach down and pull kitty out my the scruff. We came close to having to pry off the sheetrock!

Just listening to an awesome song which blends the Marvin Gaye original with Minnie Riperton's Les Fleur (it's a breathtaking piece of music) and I'm feeling soppy.

I'd say this to my wife, my child and the smart, funny and beautiful women who make this place so much more than a forum about daft watches.

Thanks for making me smile everyday girls.

If this world were mine, I would place at your feet
all that i own
you've been so good to me
If this world were mine
Id give you the flowers the birds and the bee's
and with your love beside me
that would be all i need
If this world were mine
I'd give you anything

Why is the cat scared? Are you going to take her in for a vasectomy?

This stuff is agonizing for me. A gal at my work who used to work for a vet told me today that sometimes they just get so weak they fall.
