A wonderful meal....

..with our best friends/neighbors nxt door...!!
Got a unexpected call from them, inviting us over for a Sunday dinner.
They made a great Duck a l'orange.. grilled asparagus and a superb salad, of course complimented with some nice wine.. (no pics of the wind sorry..)..!

In Connecticut for work. Saw that Ted’s Montana Grill was close so decided to give it a try. This was a spicy Bison burger with jalapeños and siracha sauce. It tasted very good with a seasonal Sam Adams.

Pics of prepping dinner. Laurie’s did some garlic butter potatoes too.

Roasting these.

Grilling these.

And the final product plated.

Picked up some fresh pasta at a local farmers market and shrimp at Costco. The Wife created this dish; Spicy firecracker pasta, shrimp sauteed in wine/butter/oilve oil/garlic topped with parmesan cheese. Paired with a buttery oaky Chardonnay.

We will definitely be making this for dinner with some friends sometime.

I’ve had Hungarian Gulash cooking for the last couple of hours. Trying to figure out what to make on Sundays is always a challenge.
