Agree on long-term values here.

Added to SQ and AMZN, opened LEAPs in PINS and will most likely do so in SE as well.

Good call we need to flush the sellers out and build a base here

Could be why investors are spooked today if he has changed his stance on the subject, through if there was an official extension wouldn’t that stand?

Thanks Brian, though I would have rather been wrong.

Hope we can build a base here and return to a level of stability in the markets without the huge swings.

Fastly's exposure to the threatened shutdown of TikTok's domestic service works out to less than 6% of its total revenue.

The reason it is down is it was/is extremely overvalued by any metric. It went up 500+% post covid, it made a triple top and corrected to first stop @$89 now trying to find a base. It could drop to $59 on the next technical down leg if it doesn’t snap back above $90.

All in all, felt like a healthy day of consolidation to me, I take it as a positive sign that the market didn’t fall apart on a Friday after some steady selling pressure. Anyone have any thoughts?

On another note, seems Fastly is catching a bit of a bid AH, wonder if there was any further development on that story.

Tesla Stock Crash Targets $75.00

This analysis and price target is from a self described Huge Tesla fan.

“ The stock is behaving like a commodity – not a business”. Always good to have ones own opinions reinforced. :)

The market climbed too high and too fast in this environment. Only a small number of large tech stocks drove the incredible growth spurt. With so many variables this year I expect continued surprises.

Yes, huge news here.

It really shouldn't be though - as FSLY shareholders, we all know what a great company it is, both for now and the future. This TikTok thing has caused so many wild swings, and it's unfortunate that this has been the case for such a stellar company. As a retail investor, it pains me to see how retail investors have reacted.

Has made a volatile stock even MORE volatile than warranted. Glad the sale to Oracle will put at least of the volatility to rest.

I agree it is frustrating. Will be all the more rewarding to those who have endured the huge swings here lately.

Oracle was a dot com darling, it hit a high of $42 in Aug. 2000 up 700% in one year, then it took another 15 years to get back to $42. Trading recently at $57 so not a very good 20 year return. Oracle has a p/e of 18 . Something to ponder when discussing investing in the money losing Covid darlings of 2020.

Oracle’s new office was another one of our jobs. That thing completely upended East Riverside.

saw it last night when it was posted, thought about buying on the news (didn’t) it’ll probably run up big today. Might of been a good trade play. Don’t know if it’ll last. Seems high even in the 70’s.

Let's remember that they are continuing to build upon their business, with recent acquisitions that only expand upon its core business.

High multiple here? Of course - but what high growth name doesn't? Is <$80 a solid entry point for long-term prospects? Without a doubt, in my opinion.

No secret that I'm a big FSLY bull though.

Meanwhile, the airlines continue to show that trouble ahead hasn't subsided.

Heading to MCO then TPA, then of course Berns sure I’ll regret not jumping in when I land and see it’s up 20 percent for the day....

The wild ride for TikTok (and FSLY) continues...

Another "no one knows anything" from me.

I’ve gotta say, this story is getting old isn’t it? Don’t know what to believe.

The conflicting reports are tiresome. If I’m reading the various articles correctly though, it seems to be some sort of partnership with ORCL instead of a purchase (perhaps so as not to need sign off from the Chinese Gov’t).
