Yes both amazing in there respective fields. Jarvis has matched or exceeded many formidable competitors at least from my perspective.

Austin hope is delicious. Was just down there last month and had a great time. Awesome winery / wines!

Agreed! They have quickly become a favorite over the past few years. I’d love to get out there to see the winery too!

Paul Masson Port

I found an old dusty Paul Masson Rare Souzao Port I had forgotten had been given to me years ago. I believe it dates back to perhaps the late 80s, but can't find a way to date it. It is Cuvee 301s, but that is the only distinguishing mark on it. It is sealed, cork appears in good condition and the bottle and label are in very good shape. I'm not a big wine afficianado and would much prefer to pass it along to somebody who would appreciate and enjoy it more via selling or trading it for a bourbon I would enjoy. I've seen empty versions selling for between $20-40 for the heart shaped glass, but only historic sales from other years ranging all across the board. Is there a good forum or place to try and valuate it and then possibly trade it?

I might be off base here, but based on Paul Masson not being on the high end, it isn't going to be worth anything other than the $20-$40 you could get for the bottle.

You’re not off base. Unfortunately, there’s not much historic or special about a bottle of NV Paul Masson port with questionable provenance.

Re the "Paul Masson" Port.
This appears to be a 'Tawny Port' rather than a 'Vintage Port' (which would generally indicate same on the label with a vintage date)
As such it is unlikely to be drinking very well as Tawny Ports are intended to be consumed soon after release to the market.
I would regard it as a 'curiousity' now and open it myself or give it to a wine enthusiast friend on the basis that he gives you a taste (if it's drinkable).
If it's unpalatable you could then have a couple of Bourbons to 'cleanse the palate'.

Thank you all for the opinions and info, I appreciate it!! I didn't figure it would carry much value, but I did see a couple of similar/identical bottles listed for around $200, so I wanted to make sure. I was also tempted to just open it and see how foul it smelled, but being a Port, I may not be able to distinguish the good from the bad. If anybody that would appreciate it is interested, I'm happy to pass it along, kick me a message.

Cheers!

I’ve been enjoying a few things from chateauneuf du pape and could use some new recommendations. Especially since I’m not able to be around people for another 30 days!

Don't know about that particular one and not being a sommelier, I've had a few Chateau du Pape and you could hardly go wrong, imo.
