LOVE the applied logo, the "claws" (indices), and the stairway to heaven dial here...imo it's like the best of both worlds (between the Terre Adelie and Passage de Drake).

Even now that people can customize the Passage the Drake, the green / viridian dial will still stand out!

It was interesting, when I first opened the box I was a bit underwhelmed… actually got a bit nervous. As I started handling it and put it on it started growing on me. The clasp feels super delicate tho, not sure if it’s just me? It’s probably tougher than it seems but it’s tiny

It feels nice on the wrist. The bracelet plays with the light which is cool and the dial really changes tones dependent on light. Size wise wears really nice looks about right on my wrist, wears flat. Doesn’t have quite the level of details on the case the Pateks do but I mean for a new company it’s an amazing first attempt. The movement is very different so can’t compare them head to head. Pateks are super traditional in style and finish where as Czapek is very modern. The micro rotor is cool. Patek and Rolex use a small ceramic ball on a spring for the clasp where Czapek uses a metal pin that’s angle cut. The more I wear it I’ll update you guys. So far though seems good.. only been an hour or so with it

Congratulations to your watch Mr Szabo (Hungarian? ;))
Actually I think the first underwhelmedness might have to do with the green dial. Its maybe a bit too playful for such a high end watch. I think the dark blue is a tad more loveable. But let's wait what feelings it evokes once you see it in full daylight...

I think the colour will grow on him with time. I felt it is the colour that is making it different. I maybe wrong. Will see his opinion as he uses the watch.

Would love to see pics without the plastic wrapper. Why is plastic still on the timepiece?

Just because I literally walked in the door from the airport pulled out the box and opened it. I’m going to unwrap it today and dive into it a little. It didn’t come with the clasp for the rubber strap or the adjustment tool. There was a note in the box saying they’re delayed and will ship in the future.

Fratello included a little leather card holder and a key chain… don’t know what the key gain is for? It has two ends that unscrew and a bunch of rubber o rings on it

I find it striking!
The pics from the member before you with the viridian were a bit underwhelming.

That would be awesome. I still don’t have a buckle for my rubber strap that came with it.

Looking at Chrono doesn’t seem there is a ton of demand for these watches. There’s 2 Antarctiques with essentially a 5k markup and they’ve been for sale for ever. You’d think if there’s a 6 month to a year wait someone would have snapped them up.

I see 7 Czapek’s for sale in the US. 2 antarctiques. Maybe too few to offer variety to a buyer and that’s in watchbox and Chrono24

Yes I saw that, too.
But these are mainly the first ones with the plain dial without texture.
Are you going to sell yours?

Czapek

I think Martin, you need to wait some time to see what will happen to Czapek and whether it will be a star or it will fade. Very few watches on the secondary market, so i would not judge. But yes, it can go either ways.

I am getting my Fratello version end of Jan and i wont sell. I feel it is a good try out with an indie for me having been focused on Patek for many years now. Timelab certificate? Not sure what you mean but will let you when i get mine in one month.
