I was a TV news reporter. Now I'm mostly arm candy, but I do love chasing foxes on horseback.
I have had my (very simple) Lady-Datejust 28 (279160: white dial, roman numerals, domed bezel, oystersteel, oyster bracelet) for so long that I had to look it up online (just now) to figure out what it is called.
I'm $$READY TO BUY$$ my husband a black 116500LN or some similar black Daytona, but I'm still trying to figure out WHICH DAYTONA is the coolest?? ...and if prices & inventory are better 'across the pond' ???
I want to have it engraved to read: "I may not be 'WATCH'n but God is"
- So, any advice &/or recommendations much appreciated!!

I’ve been a Commercial Diver for 41 years. After working in the North Sea for my first year and diving to 480’ I choose to spoil myself with my Seadweller.

Retired financial adviser. As this is a Rolex forum, I'll just list those and not my other watches:

16233
16610
16710

Bought in that order, all of them were new. First was 1989, second was 2000, third was 2006.

I am an attorney and I own a GMT II, a Date Just 41 stainless/gold jubilee bracelet with Wimbledon Dial and SkyDweller in Everose Gold leather strap. My wife also has a 26 mm Datejust with champagne Dial and diamond bezel. I am looking for a Stainless SkyDweller with a blue dial.

I do YouTube full time for a living. (Yes I play video games for a living)

In the last year of collecting
I had a Datejust II white dial. Traded it as I caught the SS sports model big.
GMT coke. Returned it because the hands did not have lume and was aftermarket.

So right now my collection is the BLNR, Hulk and a 16622 Yachtmaster. I want the new Pepsi so bad but I know I'll never find one at an AD am I am not paying 23K for one lol
