Strange day, ADP report, stimulus talks, end of quarter window dressing . . .

I am not unhappy that the markets are up +380 but I do not trust this move

Hope is not an investing strategy

The same thing that ran the markets up this morning are now taking it back down, no stimulus

+360 now after being up +573

Trade your positions not emotions

14 "cheap" stocks with solid growth prospects, according to Barrons.

Interesting to see FB, GOOGL, MSFT all here and while multiples are higher than years past, I do agree that they still have the legs to run.

I'm in FB and GOOGL but out of MSFT and not looking to reenter, as I'm looking for other higher growth prospects.

While I agree that this is the future, I have concerns based on a family member where this "telehealth" presents real problems. Between HIPAA and technology challenges, trying to set up meetings has been a major problem.

If they can work this out I believe this will be a great future

Definitely in its infancy and there will be growing pains.

This is a long-term hold for me and any profits within the 1st 5 years or so of this IPO will be icing; otherwise, my outlook is past that 5 year mark to reassess (pending any huge blowout news that would make me think otherwise).

Opened small positions in AMWL and GDRX. Thought I had waited long enough for GDRX to stabilize...

nope.

I've had my eye on it since IPO, and plan on keeping it around for a while. Not totally sold on telehealth to go big on it, but do think it's here to stay. I feel GoodRX's position in the pharmacy helps their position overall. For now. No telling what'll happen in a year.

I would agree with you on this. My feeling has been that across the telehealth space, there is still not a clearly perfect business to invest hugely in. I think AMWL and TDOC are the best we have currently, but not convinced yet that they will be the superstars of the future, for reasons that you mentioned. These are also great example of companies that use tech, but aren’t necessarily major tech pioneers and that’s the key missing piece for developing a great telehealth business in my opinion. Sticking an MD on the other end of a video call is not telehealth innovation. That said, I have a position in TDOC, and have been following AMWL and others for potential opportunities to start a small position.

Big moves for SE and V here (long SE).

Another e-commerce / Fintech partnership win.

Did not think this rally would hold, yesterday made no sense and we are now down -75 after being up earlier

Shopping list is ready but we need to break back below 3204 on the S&P for me to be a buyer.

I loaded up on some JDST. I think gold is kinda overvalued here. And it’s been awfully correlated to equities. If we get dip in market I think gold goes with it. Just my 2 cents.

After this morning's big news, I'll be on the sidelines today, especially it being a Friday.

We'll see where this week ends and how things begin to shake out next week. If we have a rough one today, not sure the weekend will be enough breathing room for a quick pick-me-up on Monday.

Will be monitoring the VIX closely.

Days like today are always such a toss up for me.

Buy the dip opportunity, or wait out as it’s the beginning of something bigger

That's exactly it - if pre-market is any indicator, I don't think this will be a big enough dip for me, personally.

With all the unknowns, I'm ok waiting it out until next week to see if we can actually move up or if we're going back to support levels around 3200.

I had plans to dip back in today as I was expecting a low day today already. I may wait until Monday to see if it dips further. We’ll see.

Discipline over conviction every time.

There could be reasons to buy today, it must make sense based on goals and strategy.

I have been looking to add to AMZN and AAPL, if they dip below my buy points I will buy. I also have a shopping list of names that I want to add so I am not worried here I am focused on opportunity. Generally I do not want to be a buyer on a Friday with this kind of news flow however, discipline tells me that if there were to be a huge washout, then perhaps toward the close I might be buying.

I’ll assess the close and decide if I buy today or not. If there’s no buying pressure towards the end of the day then I’ll likely wait till next week. There are a few however that if they reach my buy point I may add a small portion (watching HD and NKE). There are others where I doubt they will meet my buy point today.

Almost positive...(compared to the early numbers) Nothing seems to effect this market as long as we have the hopes of stimulus money...
