Annual holiday dinner at Capital Grille. Normally a big fan of Verite but it was outclassed by the Margaux in this hot vintage.

Subjective answers only I'm afraid, how much you looking to spend? What style of sparkling wine do you prefer? If Champagnes are what you are looking for and assuming dry is the desired style I have two NV suggestions. H. Goutorbe & Veuve Clicquot both around $60 and they both have NV Rose options as well if you'd like to impress your lady with pink bubbles.

If you want to splurge, 2008 vintage champagne is on fire right now, great stuff! Any of the major houses 2008 will be booming!!!

OMG, just had the best AZ wine I’ve had to date and it stands up against the best CA and WA wines I’ve had before. Just outstanding. We’ll be drinking this among side a 2012 Pritchard Hill Cabernet from Chappellet tonight with some 2” ribeyes as we’re bringing in 2021 in the RV.
