I think some of them came early (obviously). They were expecting to get them today but I am guessing a few showed up yesterday. Really happy with the experience overall - even if mine had been delayed. Luck of the draw... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shipping problems aside, Ho' really delivered on this model. Great dial / lume, really much better than previous BP Ltd ed. Bravo to those who received theirs.

I was blissfully waiting in standby mode until receiving the Dink message that my watch has shipped, but may be delayed cause, ya know, FedEx problems. But then FedEx tracking shows "The delivery date may be updated when FedEx receives the package."
Thanks Dink now I'm officially stressing this one. |

FYI - the bezel action is so nice on this one. So much better than the Barakuda - more solid little clicks And very tight. Makes me wonder if my ‘kuda needs an adjustment.
Absolute home run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya’ know they have a new CEO now. Toby Bateman AKA “Mr.Porter”. Perhaps things will tighten up a bit sooner v later. For those interested he is active on IG. I’d be interested to know what went wrong with this one. This must have been on their calendar all year. My hunch is it’s was always planned for Q4 possibly even December. COVID hits things get delayed but as someone said earlier in the thread they needed it to hit the books in fiscal 20. For 250 pieces this should have been in the can for BP. Find it hard to imagine that a 250 piece commitment for a company of BP’s size would create stress on their labor or supply chain. Given the visibility and exposure to anything Hodinkee, my guess is this little number moved straight to the front of the line for BP. Which leads me to believe even more that this was a miss on Hodinkee’s side through and through. Feels rushed and clumsy when it was an easy win for all involved. It’s an unnecessary bad look for both brands. Get ahead of it and stay ahead of it, good or bad. From the tone of everyone’s messages here, we would all be good with that even if it means waiting a little while longer than promised. |

That’s really good to hear! Love your Kuda by the way. It’s the one that got away for me. Still hoping to track one down. Who knows maybe that will be Hodinkee’s next BP LE. |

The watch looks freakin' amazing so only a ding or other defect will sour this for me. But the shipping delay does seem very amateurish. What I don't understand is why the watches weren't ready and all shipped at the same time? I get a slight difference between the boutiques and the Dink but not such a variance from the same source.

Imagine if we could have ordered a Kermit the day it was announced and there was a 15 min window to pay with your card. Then we were all mad the watch took over 2 weeks to arrive lol At this rate they are similar to apples roll out times for an I phone. It’s still far beyond what other watch purveyors can offer us. Also agree Daniel (Grnbean) has the best photos of this online right now.

![]() Happy New Year everyone! ![]() Wanted to also add this pic showing bezel alignment. Top pics are of my two previous Milspecs (yes 2...shouldn’t have sold them!). Bottom of the latest H. Not a big deal to most people and it’s probably and easy fix for BP. Just one of those small pet peeves I have...including chronograph second hands resetting at 12:00. ![]() |

Just got a call from BP in NY. They got the pieces; shipping them early next week. Tracking to follow.
Hope that helps folks that ordered from the NY boutique. |

Blancpain x HODINKEE
Got mine today.
While the watch is nice, the nato strap leaves a lot to be desired. The position of the buckle is strange. It’s way too low down my wrist instead of the usual place of the middle (in between the ulna and radius) ![]() Buckles are usually at the orange marker but this nato buckle was at the blue marker... Otherwise the watch is great! Here are some photos ![]() ![]() ___________________ IG: @thehorologydoc |

The prices on these on secondary is going up like crazy. Obviously only several examples transacted so not really a market but there was one for 18K, 2 for 21K, all gone now. Currently there is one example for 27K...

Totally agree with you. The NATO feels way too cheap from this price point, especially when comparing with what Tudor and Omega offer on their NATOs… Very very weird buckle position and the thickness feels like a $15 Amazon product. The strap can’t even hold the weight well so the watch always tries to slide around on the wrist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's where the buckle on the majority of my Natos sits, it's normal IME. But to lick a twice melted Creamsicle bar, yes, I feel BP should've at least included a sailcloth and/or Tropic rubber with this [for the price].
