Old school metal head here but mostly listen to foreign bands like RammStein (german) etc.

After hearing Gojira during the Olympic opening, I've been listening to their hits......their drummer is definitely one of the best I've heard in my life. Guy's a beast.

This one is currently my fav...

The song never gets old. Still awesome. I love that same part.... "GO!"

And for today's song stuck in my head.. something completely different than Korn.

George Michael... Freedom.

English ‘shoegaze’ rock band Ride’s first four EPs, reissued as a compilation. ‘Drive Blind’ was off the first, eponymous EP. Incredible out of the blocks (IMHO):

What an absolutely iconic album, remember when it came out and we would hang out down at the Beach, trunk open on my Buick 1972 Skylark, with the Alpine Stereo system blasting this out.

Stanley Turrentine

Don’t Mess With Mr. T

We’re playing at Terry’s Kitchen tomorrow night and will play this in his honor. Great room.

If you’re in Seattle looking for some old school soul jazz - come on out. Tell me you’re on TRF and I’ll buy you a drink.

I’ll be the guy with a saxophone and some kind of fun timepiece. Leaning towards DDIi platinum. The dial matches my jacket.

Bach - Cello suite no 1

Today remembering a friend and neighbor who passed away far too young, a year ago today (cancer). She was a cellist amonst her many talents. She went to school with my wife and she and I shared a quirky obsession of clearing the river behind our homes to allow boaters to pass. She is missed. She enjoyed this song and it was played by some of her fellow cellists at her funeral.
