Wow! The demographic here really surprises me! The median age of a Rolex owner used to be forty-five! It appears to have dropped considerably. I’m retired from Mercedes Benz of North America, and will be sixty-nine in December. So you youngsters can call me gramps I guess! I have an old 1601 TT Datejust (my all time favorite), an old Paul Newman, and a new Yachtmaster. Cheers!!!

I just joined the forum today - this is my first post.

FWIW - as of 29 January 2019, there were no new Submariner Dates available from any Mid-Atlantic AD. I called every AD in Maryland, Virginia. Washington DC, Pennsylvania and Delaware. None in stock. All had waiting lists and several refused to add new names to their already lengthy lists.
Thanks for your service, congrats on your retirement, and welcome to Rolex ownership! I’m a retired Army 1SG, never been on a sub, but love my SubC all the same!

37 and Med Retired from the Army; onto a second career with the Federal Government now. 37 years young; some days I feel 25 and others its closer to 65. My new SubC has got me started here a few weeks ago. Someday I think the Air King or a Polar Explorer might get added to the fold as well.
