That's a real beaut. Perfect lume condition to match the rest of the watch

Is that the original strap by chance?

Thanks SunTzu! Indeed the case and dial are amazing. The lume still glows although faintly. The watch is mostly original with the exception of the internal gaskets (replaced during service), the crystal (Crystaltimes sapphire), and the strap (w. jean choco bar). I fell in love with these designs after I got my srp777 a few years back.

Cheers!

Haha! Thanks! You inspired me to take it for a spin today.

It's one of my pride and joys of my vintage Seiko collection. I kept the original crystal and had an exact aftermarket one installed.

Excellent. I have the original crystal as well. Do you have the sapphire crystal by Crystaltimes? Yours looks like it might be AR coated as the dial looks so clear. Mine is not and I'm thinking of getting the AR version.

Nope not sapphire.

I bought mine from Spencer Klein as he sells the exact OEM 320W10GN00 replicas based on year of production. There are 3 crystal types and based on my year of production I take a Type III. I don’t modernize my vintage pieces. I angle my photos where there is little to no glare on the crystal. This is the hardest model to do. But you can still see at the edges of 5 and 8 o’clock.

320W10GN00 TYPE I for early 1970 (rarer models)

320W10GN00 TYPE II mid 1970 to 1975

320W10GN00 TYPE III 1976+

Thanks for that info! Mine would be a Type II and now I wonder if the shape is any different from the sapphire crystal I have in there now. If so and considering the choice between legibility and being "vintage correct" in terms of proportions, I'd choose the latter.

Maybe I'll reach out and see what Spencer has to say about it - I see they're available on his site.

Also, I can visually compare what I have in there now with the original. [edit: I can see the bevel angle on the original crystal is not as steep as the bevel on the sapphire. It's very slight but this subtle detail might make a big difference in how the crystal reflects the minute markers, which to me is one of the most awesome aspects of this watch).

Cheers!

It’s the quintessential knife to have. Love the hand feel. Not that I use it for hardcore things though living in the suburbs Slices a box and opens the bills with ease

I have my separate fishing knives for that dirty work when on the ocean.
