^nice pair and yeah, that triple six with matt dial, open 6s & 9s is a beaut.

Hi guys. Apologies for the delay.

I'm not as familiar with the 16660. What should I look for? I did a quick search, and it seems to be a desirable piece, although he certainly has put it through battle!

He is the original owner.

Did Rolex ever change the lume on these besides the change from tritium to luminova? Saw a picture of a late production one and it almost looked blue. It's definitely a 16600 reference.

No. Since you are certain it wasn't the SD4K, any bluish lume would have been a simple case of incorrect (auto) white balance.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if they switched to chroma blue before they discountinued the 16600.

I'm keen on getting a 16600 for myself. That said, I'd like to know how most like to wear theirs, snug on the wrist, or a little loose?

For reference, here's a photo on how I'd typically wear my 5133. Is this possible with the 16600? Too heavy to wear loosely?
