Actually, I believe you're the only forum member who calls them odd names like that. It's always been just the two of them battling it out to see who can insult the other the most!

Silly, you are one of the politest members of this forum, and I certainly don't consider you insensitive. If I had minded you calling me "Carol", I would have sent you a hysterical PM!

Nancy, when dealing with and enjoying their banter I figured I'd join them. You know the more the merrier. Life is too short to not have fun and as long as no one's feelings get hurt. C'est la vie!!!

I would go as far to say that although Joe and I sometimes push the boundaries of taste when it comes to innuendo or some of our tales, not once have we ever recieved a complaint from the female members of this forum, either in public or private. In fact many of the ladies of TRF often compliment our behaviour. Why? Who knows? Even if sometimes people are laughing at you and not laughing with you, at least they are still laughing...and that is the sole reason I come back. Jim |

Okay, let's be honest Jim, you would not trade him for anything. He's a keeper and Dad's little man!!!

I'm bummed out because the two Murray Comet Hotrod pedal cars we were bidding for on ebay went yesterday to a last minute bid hijacker grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! (same guy hijacked both bids....double grrrrrr!) They are £300 new and that's a lot of money to spend on something he won't get many years use out of (spesh when I'm still on a 4 day week). They were old ex display stock and you never see them as cheap as they were this weekend. We were going to keep it for Christmas and was gonna dress him up in jeans, white tee and a lil leather jacket for Christmas day so he could look like a real Grease/American Graffitti kid to surprise everybody. Bah Humbug!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J |

Jim - don't be bummed! If those pedal cars are anything like what we got for Phoebe, they're more for looks and not very good for actual use. The one we had was hard to handle and had some sharp edges that weren't very kid friendly. It did, however, make a very cute prop for our Christmas card that year. Here's the pic we used - she was almost 3:

Lisa, looks like you had a great X-mas that year. Is Phoebe your oldest child and look at the curls in her hair.....

Just seen this on eeeeeb
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#37;3DWatching These have really good reviews in the UK. £5 at the moment and only down the road from us...in fact Claire goes to Norwich to take the child she nannies for to school. Let's hope the price stays low for the next 7 days (I wish). J |

Jim, the trek you speak of is that the name of the manufacturer? The reason I ask is Trek is an American company the sells racing and Mountain bikes.....

Yep Trek as in bontrager etc.
The Trikester is really cool and the 09 edition is quite 80's future retro! J |
