A few bottles from what I call the "Wine & Song" (no Women) afternoon with a few old mates last week. The "St Hugo" was a disappointment. Good wine but I only decanted two hours before consumption. Needed at least four. Lesson learned.

A very agreeable Spanish Chardonnay. Very much in the new world style of yesteryear. Loads of oak and vanilla, and a touch of acidity.
