so light and so thin under the cuff that way.

also nice and nearly dressy if you have ink free arms..
(bracelets always pop too much against my black ink.)

i was on the list for the bracelet, but then realised i have a whole bunch of bracelets sitting in the drawer, so i picked up a leather 58 and swapped it out to black.

i was thinking i might try and find a straight end bracelet for it, like the Ranger if i go bracelet.
just for something different.
if anyone knows a good 20 straight, please give me a heads up direction.

hope the pics helps someone following along in the background like i was.
someone also asked about a size reference way back.
i figure most have a skx.
doesn't wear as physically small as you might think, but feels so much smaller because it's thin.

some also mentioned bezel insert colour - it's pretty close to mid late 30's rose gold but perhaps a fraction lighter, towards a pink /copper hue perhaps.
the more i look at it the more i like it.
still couldn't capture the colour exactly though.

i never worry about accuracy, but for those that do it has gained 3 seconds over the last 3 days.
so +1 a day but i haven't worn it a lot.
i need to train myself, as its so light and thin on leather i honestly forget i have it on and i'm worried i'll solidly bump it early in it's life.

hope the pics help someone.
just wanted to say thanks to those that posted and it's worth the wait for those still waiting.

For sure it's a lovely watch! I got the call but I passed on it and asked if they would give it to my cousin's husband who was also on the list at the same AD and they did which was really nice of them. He loves it but for me I couldn't justify it as it was too similar to my 5 digit sub which I aquired while I was waiting for the call.

Hmm... I really like it. but does anyone have large(ish) wrists...

I have 8.5" wrists and wondering how it would look, can't find a dealer here in the UK that has one in stock to go try it.

Its such a great watch and i would love to have one but i have a 14060m and feel its a bit to similar. Any thoughts if Tudor will release the 58 in different colors next year? How cool a burgundy would be:)

This is where I am at.

I'm hoping for a thinner or 40mm Pelagos.

I have 8.5" + wrists and just picked up one today with the metal bracelet. I had to order extra links to size it correctly, so it currently is a bit of a wrist squeezer.

It sits almost exactly like my 5 digit (16713) Rolex GMT, and seems to have a bit more wrist presence than my 39mm Explorer 1.

Very pleased with the look....I'll try to attach a photo shortly.

Can anyone confirm if a 5 digit oyster (GMT Master II) will fit the BB 58?

Would like to know as well. Going to be picking up the leather solely because I don't like the rivets.

I have a spare bracket in the safe. I will go and get it this weekend and try it on the 58.

I’m 99% sure it will. Although I have a feeling the brushwork is subtly different if that bothers you.

Ps this really is a stunning watch. Easily in my top favs. I simply adore it. I also wasn’t a fan of rivets and therefore bought my B.B. black on leather. But on the 58 it’s not a concern. I love the bracelet. It’s ultra comfortable and it seems to have the same pearlescent brushwork that the lugs have.

You barely notice the rivets now the bracelet is much thinner but when looking you do notice the end caps. But the watch is so good it’s a none issue.

Actually I hated the bracelet, but now it has grown on me.

Tried one on this morning on the nato. Loved it. One issue however is that the fabric strap was really small. I have 7.25 inch wrists and it only got to the last hole and hardly any excess for feeding through keepers.

Anyone else notice this? If it wasn’t for that, I’d have bought it by now.

Luckily there are an infinite number of 20mm straps that you can buy for it. Are you letting the stock strap hold you back?

No. Ideally I want on the bracelet. I bought the gmt on leather and then bought the bracelet separately.

I’m figuring I will wait and get the one I want. I can buy NATO’s and straps for a lot less than a bracelet.

It’s absolutely beautiful and a great size however.

Got it. The bracelet is fabulous. Has the "correct" 4mm taper from 20-16, unlike the larger Black Bays.

Saw this one a few weeks ago, with the leather bracelet. It really is a beautiful piece, Tudor did everything right IMO. It is so nice, I wish I was in the market for such a watch. Rarely have I seen this price point in a watch of such quality and attributes, including in house movement. Value, value, value! I would love to see it with the rivet bracelet as well.
Cheers,
Carl

Congratulations. It is a beautiful watch. One day, I would love to see it with that beautiful rivet bracelet. The one I saw had the brown leather strap, also beautiful. Seems like on this model they even upgraded the leather strap to a better quality!

Looking good. Love mine on the leather strap. Also picked up the Grey Camo Nato strap for it. Great look and vintage vibe!

How difficult to walk into an AD and buy these in the US now? I saw one in Prague a few weeks back and really liked it, although the clasp felt a bit tinny to me. For the price its a great deal though.

Doubt many places have stock. Placed my original order in June, received mine in early September. Stock is similar to SS Rolex, only a couple coming in at a time spaced out by a couple months.

Sorry for the terrible picture! Took it today at the local AD. In the picture does not look much smaller than the LVc while on the wrist it feels substantially smaller and wears much like a five digit submariner - it disappears on the wrist.

I really like the 58 but cannot (yet!) justify its purchase while owning a 14060m. Anyone else with similar sentiments?

The 58 is great watch and I am really looking forward for its release with blue bezel and dial, square indices - a MN Tudor Sub historical reissue.

If you like it, sure, that's not a bad deal. By early next year (and it could be sooner), these aren't going to be hard to come by at all. Even the so-called "rare" 79220N is selling for well below retail, much to my dismay as an owner who wants to get rid of one. My guess is that the grey market pricing for these will be pretty much the same as it is for the regular black bay within a few months, which means ~20% discount for NIB.

Right there with you.

I'd tear my wallet out for a 40mmx12mm Pelagos...or a 12mm Pelagos, hell call it something different and drop the HEV valve but keep the same theme.

Why can’t you justify it while owning a Rolex, albeit only one?

I hate to disappoint those out there, but good luck in waiting for something that might not ever arrive.

This frame of mind makes me think you are the type who wants to wait for the iPhone 13 instead of getting a XSmax now.

It’s more about condoning why you can’t buy it now even though you would if you could?
