And nope its not 11k watch, its 14k and change.

Yep
While this forum functions, there are some upgrades that would really improve the functionality

Box can be bought from practically any moda seller for 150-200. Those aren’t watch specific, all your ADs have tons of them, in different sizes

SD is a great watch, I owned it. Aesthetically it wore great, but it’s just a bit heavy for my liking in a diver. New sub is literal perfection in my eyes. Maybe I’m a baby though, idk

I love sd43 as well. I used to own one but sold it to finance other watch. if only i can afford to keep it, i would.
Yup the 12 sub is perfection. it hugs my small wrist better than the 11. you lucky to own both.

A BBQ Forum I'm on has a lot of functionality on it too
  • The ability to tag members
  • Drag and Drop Pictures
  • Like buttons
  • "Like" and "Quote" notifications

I'm, sure some of those functions exist here, but if i cant figure them out, they're not that intuitive (I'm 36yo)

This falls firmly in the "it would be nice" category, though

The Sotheby's auction in HK seems to have done better than the Antiquorum one:

https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auct...fine-watches-9

I thought this was a great buy at $32,000 considering how rare it is:

Wow, that's a great find. Everything seemed pretty weak. From what I can tell a ton of Daytonas weren't sold, Nautilus as well. AP extremely underwhelming, even most Pateks did badly. Speedy hype seems to be gone as well. Blancpain etc. basically unsellable. Wow.

I'm not sure why they even bother to put brands like Blancpain or even Breguet in auctions.

They're basically unsellable.

Forgive me, but I think you are making things up! Makes for interesting reading! Especially if you end every sentence with a!

It’s almost sad to see some of these sellers this delusional with the current market. They are just making themselves irrelevant as there are plenty of other dealers that have adjusted their prices to what the current market actually is. Some of the bigger dealers are desperately hoping that prices return after summer, after China opens back up etc. meanwhile we are headed to yet another .75 basis point increase (if not more) next week. Doesn’t look good for those guys.

It's an interesting phenomenon. I used to think David was the end all be all of the gray market. Then he started posting IG stories of Ferraris and extravagant dinners every weekend, which was a little ostentatious but whatever. The breaking point for me was when the market started dropping and he continued to list watches for absurd prices.

This is just my assumption. But I think every big grey and DavidSW can afford to hold out until the market starts to go back up around Christmas.

He appears to to be holding firm...Those to desperately need to sell to him will sell at a lower price....if he's buying.

From what I have observed. He is starting to sell a lot of the other brands...Either the big greys are not buying Rolex or people are not willing to sell to them at lower prices.

I'm not defending him or any other grey dealer. However, I think some of them can afford to hold out much longer. Some of them are trend setters in pricing DavidSW is one of them.

He isn’t a trend setter in this environment. Prices are going down by the week. People are seeing there are other dealers out there with much better pricing. These ones trying to hold out are just making themselves irrelevant.

The watch marker won’t return to previous highs, those holding out hoping for that don’t understand the current economic issue facing the us and the world.

I'm not savvy with how the forum works but I bet you can report the thread if you don't like it and offer an explanation of a) what forum rule it violates, or b) why you don't like it.

(Not being snarky)

I did that and then posted actually. Didn't take it as snarky at all.

Prices go up and down depending on the seller purchased the watch.
Wake up morons, it pays to shop around, that's all.
