Actually the one that gets the most wrist time is my 5164 and 5980 equally ... then 5712... 5711 not so much!

You Sir have an excellent collection! My next purchase is going to be a nautilus, you own all three that is on my shortlist. I'm still leaning towards the 5711 as I want something minimalistic. However, the 5712 is a beauty even though it isn't symmetric.

Thank you Tomas... both the 5712 and 5711 are fantastic... the simplicity of the 5711 is beautiful... and the non symmetrical dial on the 5712 is very cool and interesting

You are not helping! I like buying new and it seems like there is shorter waiting lists on the 5712, that might be the deciding factor as I'm not that patient when I have my goal set

not as much as you'd think. I'm kind of scared to. Don't want to mess up the hinge etc. it's the minute markers - they sparkle like nothing I've ever seen. I used to think that grand seikos reflected some light - now I know what they are after!

THE BIGGEST DILEMNA .... 5711 or 5712 ... I have 5711 but like very much 5712, I bought because I was lucky to find it at a very attractive price so couldn't say now.... both are stunning pieces nevertheless

I understand, completely. That's why I bought my 5711 about 3 months ago! It was available; it was offered at a good price; and I didn't want to say "No". I have since moved it to fund a new piece I recently got, and no regrets for trying it. I also miss my 5712/1a, which I moved earlier this year. FWIW, between the two, the 5712/1a is the answer for me, after having owned both.

Have only owned the 5712 but it is clearly the one for me, also owned the 5726, great watch though I prefer ultra thin, there is just something awesome about a 5712, i would basically take it over any other Naut, even if they were all at the same price, like them all except the 5990 and the old one with Roman numerals

It's a 5102, no date.

6102 has a date, but looks more cluttered with it IMHO.
