I agree with you but sometimes he still get impatient with me. He is only 24 so he does have some time to continue learning and mature. He is a good man though with a kind heart!!!

I used to think when I was 30 that I had finally matured and now maybe all the stupid stuff I did lately would now be behind me..

Now that I've doubled that, I can still think of really immature stuff I've done recently, so I'm starting to think that maybe I still have a few years to go to reach "maturity".

Nancy and Larry, Thanx for your jewels of wisdom and I agree!!!
Everyday I wake up I'm grateful to be alive. Everyday is an opportunity to learn, experience and enjoy life. I am never to old to learn and I do let the "kid" out in me when I can. My priorities are to be good husband, father and friend first and to strive toward peace, serenity and find happiness in my life!!!

In my case I think that as I age I just discover newer and more modern ways to do stupid things.

Great thoughts, Lion! I especially like the "waking up every day" part. I'm really big on that these days.

What should I do?

Tomorrow, Ben and Jerry's ice cream shops are giving away free cones from noon - 8 pm. The best time to go is close to noon...

Should I take the kids out of school early (12:30) to go get cones? Hubby thinks I'm crazy!

I think you're crazy! Take them right when school is finished. You guys are silly geese!

Forgot to say my watch is 27mm across and the band is 8mm. So it's a decently sized watch.

I believe as you get older you begin to not take living and being alive for granted. Your children are grown and may have started their own families and your own priorities change. Each day brings new challenges(like bones creaking, arthritis, etc.....)and you realize that life has been kind and good. Now I take each day in stride and take time to contemplate and enjoy the little pleasures in life(like flowers, children playing.....)!!!

Possibly, but then you risk waiting in line for an hour!

I'm usually a strict mom, but sometimes you've got to live a little!

It's spring, you're only a kid once......mmm-hmmmm.... go for it!

They'll remember that day and tell their own kids what a fun mom you were.

We went to this little place called the New South Kitchen. We had all the Southern faves -- shrimp and grits, homemade pimiento cheese, arugula salad (that's not southern)... and home for cake.

Tell me about it. Sometimes I can't tell if the wife is yelling at me, while I am in the basement in my speedo, "hey Bubba lets have sex". Then when I listen closely I think she is saying, "hey Bubba you ex is here". Of course the second thought that crosses my mind is that sex with the ex is best. I am always in trouble.

I'm 33 next week and I know full well that I am still an idiot.

I might not be as dumb as I was 13 years ago but that doesn't mean that I ain't still dumb!
