The numbers on my watch are slightly different in that the number of digits is five rather than six. I have had this watched serviced and I was assured that it is authentic, but I would like to know more about it.
So there are two diffeent numbers on this watch on one end it reads "Stainless Steel", 942XX. On the other end it reads "1239XX" I assume that the first number is the S/N. What then is the second number? From what I can gleem this is a Model 79180 "Big Block, Reverse Panda" What more can I learn about this watch? |

For big block with ref 94xx0, its serial range are approx from 87x,xxx to 26x,xxx, which also included some 5-digit serial. |

Need help
I need some help with this one and someone here I hope knows the answer.
I have an old Tudor, Oyster Commander... Now I dont know when they began serial numbering there watches but this one is only serial number 39,000. I have seen the same model (Oyster Commander) by RWC that was mentioned it was a 1942, and serial numbered 243,000, the case was not exactly like mine, mine is round and the RWC was more of a squared off shape but the movement was the same, 17j. I believe that mine is from the late 1920s to mid 1930s but I dont know. Anyone have a clue or can tell me more? |

Any chance this could still be ok?
Hello everyone and thanks for the valuable info.
According to what I gather, there is no way that a Tudor model 74000 could have serial number 234XXX. However, in the pictures I got from the seller of my new aqcuisition, this clearly seems to be the case: at 12 o'clock: 74000 and at 6 o'clock (approximate allignment): STAINLESS STEEL 2 3 4 X X X The stamping seems quite professionally done on both sides (pretty deep and sure lines) What can I think about this? Many thanks to all knowledgeable members who will take their time to answer this. SimplyTudor |

Hi all,
I'm new to this wonderful forum and would like to get some more info on my new Tudor Prince Oysterdate. I would like to get an idea of when this watch was produced. All the relevant info you can find below. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure this watch is authentic, but as I'm a novice I can't be 100% sure. Please let me know if the second question is inappropriate for this thread. Thank you in advance! I should also have mentioned its diameter is 31mm excluding crown and movement is an ETA 2824-2..
The bezel is gold and my understanding is that it will be 18 k, can anyone comment on that please. |

Tudor Rolex
Hi All
Just wondering if anyone can help me, I have aquired a Tudor Rolex and would like to find out if it is genuine firstly and if there is any info like date or what it maybe worth. The strap has a Pat no on it, I think it is 717309 although it is very small and hard to read, it also has B&S Rolex on the strap with a hall mark, inside the rear casing it has B&S made for Rolex 409758, hallmark 9 375. On the movement it has 17 Rubies and Swiss made. I have tried to take some photos but they dont come out very well, I will try again if you think it will help. Thanks for any help. |

Tudor Oyster Prince Day Date
Hi,
Could I get some help from here? I am looking to buy a 7020/0 with a serial number #2795XXX. The serial number actually is 7 digits long. I think it is an early 70s. I have tried to read for some information here, but it seems quite hard to find. What can you tell about this serial number? I thought its always 6 digits? Or 5? Many thanks in adwance! Jolle |

Should be 6 digits. Can you post photos of the serial / ref engravings in the Vintage section here?

I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that Tudor does not have 2 million serial ranges with the 7017/7020 Jumbos and I am pretty sure that is not a good font.
I strongly recommend that you take clear photos of the ref & serial sides - without the glare - so everything can be seen and post them here https://rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32 in the vintage section so people can properly comment. Based on what I see I have a lot of concerns which is why i think you really really need to post this in the vintage section, with clear photos of the entire watch in addition to the engravings, so people can properly comment.

I have just acquired a 76100 Sub. Serial number 1328xx. Doesn't seem to match up to the list here in terms of serial numbers but I think it's a 1984 model. Definitely genuine.

What do I have?
I think I have a tudor princess oyster and know nothing about it. The only numbers I can find are on the clasp and they are 6248 11 and M11. I think the model number is 92400

Appreciate comments
Gents,
Watch is a bottom of the draw find from a close relative. It has been there for circa 28 years untouched. First posting on here so hope I have attached the images correctly. Watch is marked 9411/0 between the lugs and has serial no 88#### Bezel rotates too freely and appears to be missing the spring. Appreciate thoughts on its authenticity |

Mid size submariner 75090
I recently acquired a Tudor Submariner (midsize) 75090 with serial number B323xxx. Mine has the sapphire crystal, 36mm case, Rolex crown and case. I was trying to sort out where the serial number fit into the Tudor schema as I previously saw 75090 with a serial number B33xxxx. Any help would be appreciated!

A vintage Tudor Oysterdate came across my desk with a model number 90133 and a serial number 96xx16 placing manufacture in 1981. Can anybody shed light on this model?
