I saw in an interview where Thierry Stern said if someone was flipping his watches that they would not longer be available to them.

I can't seem to find it though, I think it was on Hodinkee.

Stern You can't really plan it. We know when we're doing such a limited amount that there will be a big difference in the market. But for me, what I expect is to sell it to the right person who's not going to sell it.

Maybe it was a subliminal memory? I seemed to remember the same thing and the link above jarred my memory of where I'd read it.
