Trust me, it's much more comfortable the way I've done it......otherwise the clasp tends to move more toward the little finger side of the wrist because of the ONE extra link on the '6' side.

Totally agree, JJ Never made sense to sell watches that don't balance right from the start.

Yes, if only I can find one. I've even put up a WTB ad in the appropriate section of this forum.

Hopefully one of the regulars will be able to source one out for me.

Wouldn't a Jubilee bracelet look kinda goofy with only 5 links on the 6 o'clock side?

JJ:

When I sent my TT DJ with Jubilee bracelet to the RSC it had 11 links at the 6 o'clock and 13 links at the 12 o'clock. They put a new Juliblee bracelet on plus two extra links to match my old bracelet, but they put 9 at the 6 and 15 at the 12. It's actually much better the way they set it up with a total of 24 links. However, the new unstretched bracelet it's a little tight and my AD will have a 25th link for me in a few days. What do you think, should the 25th link go 6 or 12?

9+15 sounds about right for the Super Jubilee. If you need to add on the 25th link, do so at the '12' side to give you a new arrangement of 9+16, i.e.
9 links on the '6' side and 16 links on the '12' side.

Just make sure the crown on the concealed clasp sits dead centre of your wrist.

Good luck - JJ

It's a new bracelet with hollow links for my 1987 16013. That make any difference?

So, do all Expy's come this way, or was this just a goof at the factory?

JJ, I think your wrist is cockeyed. Six and seven work for me and keeps the clasp centered. I think you need surgery.

Yes, John. I even checked out a brand new one at my AD's and it had the same silly configuration of 7+6.

Now the 8+5 seems to work fine with me.

The funny thing is my Platty brand new came with the 8+4½ links setting original from the factory and fit me perfect......so why can't they have the same arrangement on the Exp-II?

I'm pretty sure this older style bracelet comes with 22 original links and I think it takes a 13+9 arrangement, naturally the more number of links being on the '12' side.

Is it possible to remove links from an oyster integrated bracelet Oysterquartz early 80's DJ?
Can you do it by yourself?
How is the procedure?

OK... so, let me get this straight... instead of 12 + 4... we go 8... uh... +.. 5... eqauls... square root of... pie... tangent over... cosign.... uh.. divided.. I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!!

JJ, SERIOUS question here.. and something I'd really like to know... can you do a review, specifically, the differences/similarities/which you like better between your new GMT and the new EXP II ? Please... ?
