LOL I am one of those people that doesn't sweat much even in the gym I need an hour of cardio to start a good sweat, I was behind the nozzle man a rookie on his first house fire ( 1st guy on the left with is arms up in picture) we were 1st in. He was really excited and wanted the picture as a memory of his first fully involve kitchen fire. Nice posted pics by the rest of you guys stay safe, also Chopperboy love that new WG Sub you just got enjoy.

I can certainly see your point. On the other hand, I got a brand new Breitling Superocean in 1997. I work in a print shop, and my hands are in and out of machinery all day. For 10 years, I only had the one watch, and it was like an old friend to me. The first ding/scratch was the hardestAfter that, it got easier and easier. Every few days, I put the watch under the tap and gave it a good wash with soap and water. Even with the scratches, it looked great!
However, my work is not nearly as heavy duty as yours. I guess if you were to ever smash that ceramic bezel, it could be quite an expense.
Definitely one of the most special Diver watches ever made! I had a Breitling Avenger Seawolf for a while, actually 45mm and 18.5mm thick! It was so big, and it really got in the way of everything at work. The DSSD is about the same size, so it would be really hard to keep it out of harm's way.

Good work to all the brothers that risk there lives while others are getting out.

Remember a bad day for firefighters/paramedics isn't about missing lunch or not getting along with a fellow co-worker, but what we do and see in a day. Suchas seeing a life taken away, or someone losing everything they had in a fire or a natural disaster.

BTW I occasionally wear my DeepSea to work, but my Sub has seen close to 10 years of fires, vehicle extrications and Med calls.

You guys and ambulance staff get my highest respect, you do a very difficult job for not a lot of money!

I would not be taking my DSSD in to that inferno either. I would imagine a great many of your fellow firefighters wear G shocks, they can take the abuse
